Yoweee!
My first ever note on my first ever message board! And as I write these words the rain has ceased to fall from the San Diego sky and the sun is streaming through the parting clouds, through my window, and on to my excitedly typing fingers. (Insert wonderous chorus chant here) Isn't it glorious! You think I'm kidding, but I'm not.
Anyway, I digress, as usual.
How cool is this?? Not only do I get my own message board started by three EXTREMELY hip and hot young ladies, but they created it in fabulously fun 80's colors!! I mean, how good can this get??
I just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you to Cate, Emy, and Erika because they rock.
And you.
I want to thank you.
You're reading this right now, which means you've come to my message board, which probably means you like independent music and want to support it, which means you are inherently cool in my book.
Because, really now, everyone always says "thank you" to the fans, even, like, Beyonce will get on the stage holding her MTV moonman and thank the fans, while she really should be thanking her minion of studio suits who pimp out her image and sound and get her on TRL. But independent musicians, man, they are INDEBTED to the supporters and the message board makers and the street teamers and the avid love spreaders. So I am indebted to you, and I will pay you back in songs and rambeling notes and maybe the occasional baked good, if you are ever so lucky.
