relationship observation gc vs gsr regarding dating
was watching "the accused is entitled" and noticed the scenes where gil finds out sara is dating hank and his reaction. he tells her she deserves a personal life.
now, in weeping willows, cath tries to get a personal life and he goes completely off on her for going out knowing what can happen out there.
so, tell me, which one of their having a personal life bothers him...cath or sara? to me it's obviously cath. he wants sara to go out, meet people, find a man. he wants cath to stay locked in her house (or his hermetically sealed condo).

He definitely wants her in his hermetically-sealed *townhouse* (say "condo" and he'll start on his "Technically..." speech again ). He's not about to give her any space, is he? She can't even talk on the phone with him being there and listening!

And she doesn't either! Not with him anyway. Her space seems very much to be his space too where she's concerned. And I LOVE that about the two of them.

i know, that's one of the best things about those two. the level of physical comfort between them. found a bunch more of those moments when i was capping last night. will post them asap.

While GSRs spend their time filling in the blanks (he didn't say a word! he didn't throw himself at her! he didn't even react! ... ), we've got Gil and Cath giving us lots of grist for our GC mill just by how they are with each other.

oh, another observation relating to this one. if gil really cared about the other he would have remembered she was seeing hank from "the finger" cuz sara comes back to the lab and is talking about being on her date with him when she sees cath.

Gil doesn't seem to remember very many things about Sara, if you ask me. And that speaks volumes about how much she means to him.
