personaliy test
Maybe some of you have done this already, but here it is.

www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp

I am a INTJ
It showed me that it really is normal for me to be how I am. It actually is kinda weird how accurate the articles discribed me.

Re: personaliy test
I took this test one year ago, in some kind of gouvernmental programm of some sort (it was more complex than this one, but still). My old result should be somewhere around my house, I will try to look for it

for now i am INFP, with 100% Introverted (hurray for me), back then I was only 80%, I guess I fell even lower

edit: I found my old test. In french, it was called "L'indicateur de types psychologiques Myers-Briggs". And even back then I was INFP. The description they give me inside the files we received after the test was right at 100%, so I guess Im still true to myself, even one year later...

Re: personaliy test
I've taken your enneagram test. Of course I only choose the free 36 questions one (Im not willing to pay to hear what someone else think about me |I )...It was really hard to do since many times, no choice was corresponding to my personality so I had the choose the best of the worst :) ...and the opposite happens too, where I had to chose between two things that was exactly me...So in the end, Im not so sure about the result.

They gave me type 9 the Peacemaker...and theres many things that are not me in this type...while my INFP personality type was exactly what I am...I feel that the person they described in the enneagram test is someone else than me....oh well

Re: personaliy test
dont worry xellos my friend took the test and hers was completely innaccurate too. i suppose it just works bettr for some people. I didnt feel like the other test was too accurate for me.

Lilmshic(?) individualist buddy! i guess u feel how i felt when i tookthe test. its so freaky when something definies u completely. I was real;ly happy at first because of all the positive creative stuff it says but then i felt miserable about the whole self-absorbed thing. Plus its kind of worrying that people can be defined and grouped into 9 categories so easily. for me at least. I suppose that goes into the whole nature nurture debate.
Whos on what side??
personally im beginning to believe tat biology makes you what you are but they way you are nurtured makes you take advantage and use particular parts of your personality. ~I think all potential is biological. e.g a person easily angered by nature but its the circumstances/nurture e.g. domineering parents? that lead to an outcome - losing your temper when people tell you what to do..
of course its more complicated than that.

Thats the whole point, maybe it can help us find some answer, or some paths in life, but we shouldnt believe that what they say there will lead us for the rest of our life....

im beginning to believe tat biology makes you what you are but they way you are nurtured makes you take advantage and use particular parts of your personality

LOL, I had an argumentation with someone few weeks ago about this particular subject. Me, I was thinking that we were all the same at birth and that our personality and nature were forged during our youth years, with many factor such as environment, social contact, family, etc.., etc.., that was in direct relation with our development. And the other person was thinking just like you, that what we were at the begining was determined by genetic, and that the factors that were entering our life would of course had an effect on what we would be, but not as much as in my theory, since our deep personality was in our gene...

But really, thinking that biology is what make a person personality and nature is kinda freaky...that would mean that whatever we try, even while we were a child, we couldnt do anything to change, since destiny have chosen this nature for us...Really I like to believe that if Im introverted, shy, and affraid of social-contact, its only because of the total of my youth experiences, and the path I chose for myself....Not because we can read the word "Introversion" in my DNA :rollin

Re: personaliy test
Hmmm...I just found this site. I was feeling lonely/down right now....
Anyway, this was interesting to me because I know something about personality types. I know also that people with IN starting personality types often don't like the idea of personality types! Anyway, what is interesting to me is that my husband is an INFJ (note the IN part) Introverts are rare--25% of the population compared to 74% extrovert. Intuitives (the N part) are also rare at 25%. That makes the combination of IN in a personality very rare indeed. I think maybe that is why you feel lonely. Because it is hard to find people of like mind. You are truly unique and you are special.

I know my husband often feels alone. It is hard, I think, for intuitive deeper thinking guys to find male friends because there aren't many of you out there! As far as women, I love deep thinking men. I have girlfriends who do as well. Conversations are what made me fall in love with my husband. But his first impression was really stinky. I wasn't interested. But he was persistent and he called me and once we actually talked--well, it was the beginning of the end of singlehood for me. He was unlike any conversation I had had with any man in my life. I know, though, that he tried with other women and just didn't click. But there are women out there who want that, who want you. My husband was a great listener as well as talking with me so that was also important--the whole conversation can't be about what you like (I know the things my hubby reads and enjoys are just not of interest to a lot of people--he has to be careful about wanting to only focus on those things--especially when first getting to know people). Don't give up...and try to be positive. I know my hubby tends to hit people with the deep stuff a little too soon. Could scare people off. Could have scared me off! Anyway, I wanted you to know there is hope. Oh, and if you have the willingness to explore relgious things sometimes the right setting in that area can help you meet similarly deep people.
