pay off credit cards or keep savings
I have run into about 4 months where I have had to charge rather large amounts to my credit cards. They were previously paid in full every month. The first thing was new tires($500) and the next was unplanned dental work...($912 and $636) in consecutive months and this was far more than my budget could handle. I have moderate savings of less than $1000, my finances are secure. Should I use all of my savings to pay as much of this down or continue to punish myself as I have been by pulling "extra" money from my flexible catagories to pay as much as I can on this unsecured debt? It will take about 4-5 months this way as long as nothing else happens. The interest rate is about 12-16% I think.

Thanks for any advice!
