I'm persuaded that had they also polled all those who watch CSI but do not go online, the Cath's winning margin would be higher.

So they try to hack to manipulate the figures!
I suspect GSR fans are really a small minority. They are loud and aggressive and so they seem more numerous than they actually are.
GC fans are for the most part probably outside of the internet world. I know that in my family, everyone who even pays attention to the chemistry between characters, would love for Cath and Gil to get together. That is, if they don't already think they are together! And these many people hardly ever use the computer.

seriously. people who aren't on the net call the women the blonde one and the dark haired one. lmao. but...if you aren't into the show in a shipping sense then that's how you see it. and then the one they recognize is marg (well cuz she's done a lot of stuff).

Yeah, I hear that quite often too. Alternatively, I've heard people refer to Catherine as the beautiful one. And poor Sara as simply "the other one".
And these many people hardly ever use the computer.
