Appearance: Garret is tall and lean, with pale ghost-like skin and long black hair. His lack of eyebrows is of minimal notability when placed on the face that holds lips of little to no colour and a pair of deep set, icy cold eyes.
Clothing: Garret can normally be seen wearing a black floor-length trenchcoat, buttoned up to the neck. Underneath this he wears a black long sleeved t-shirt, and usually dark jeans or black leather motorcycle pants.
Powers: Bloodscream is a vampire of sorts, needing to feed upon people’s life force to survive. In order to do this, he simply needs to touch his victim with one of his clawed hands, causing them to bleed profusely from the point of contact. He then, in traditional vampire style, will drink of their blood to regain his strength. Bloodscream will need to indulge in this activity at least once every three days – any longer than this will see him weakened. His strength and speed will reduce dramatically, and will not be restored until after he has ‘fed’.
When at full strength, Bloodscream possesses superhuman speed and strength (approximately three times that of a normal, fit man). Prior to feeding or battle, Garret will transform into Bloodscream, his fingernails growing into claws and his teeth into fangs. When in his usual state, Garret can look mostly normal, although he cannot be rid of his ghost-like appearance, and his touch is not volatile unless transformed.
Bloodscream possesses a healing factor, similar to that of his arch-nemesis Wolverine, and can also exert mind-control over lower-level animals, and humans of a similar mentality.
Traditional Vampire repellants (i.e. sunlight, garlic and Christian crosses) will not harm nor phase Bloodscream.
Fighting Ability: Born in the 16th century, Garret is trained in sword and staff fighting as well as hand-to-hand combat.
Other Skills: A skilled and avid motorcyclist, he can often be seen cruising the streets at night time on his pride and joy, a Harley Davidson Titan Cruiser (click here for pic if interested).
Garret is also an accomplished horse rider, having traded this skill in for his motorcycle in recent years.
Education Level: Garret attended London University before he was transformed, and possesses a partially finished degree in Alchemy, however he has little use for it in the current age.
Personality: Despite being a blood-sucking vampire, Garret is extremely well-spoken and polite. He will not kill unnecessarily (i.e. not unless he needs his strength, or in battle), and is particularly fond of entertaining females. His sense of humour is intelligent, and extremely British in all senses of the word. He still retains some elements of speech from when he lived in old England.
When in battle, Bloodscream is fierce and formidable, quite different to the well spoken and chivalrous (although quite macabre) gentleman that is Garret Bathory.
Likes/Dislikes: Obviously Garrets first love is his motorcycle, which he fondly named “Elizabeth”. He dislikes rude and uncouth personalities, and people who are disrespectful (in his mind) to women.
History:
Born in 16th Century London, Garret Bathory had a relatively normal life. He was raised in a wealthy family and studied Alchemy at London University, leaving prior to finishing his degree to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and take to the sea. He had spent his childhood listening to his grandfather’s sailing tales, and was captivated by the ocean.
Bloodscream was a sailor in Sir Francis Drake's armada when he was mortally wounded in battle. A necromancer offered to save him, but in doing so transformed him into a type of vampire, who needs to drain others' lifeforces to survive. The only thing that can cure this condition is if he feeds on the blood of a man who does not age.
Bloodscream first encountered his arch enemy, Wolverine, at the battle of Normandy in 1944. Since then he has been trailing Logan, as he believes that it is his blood that will cure him of his condition. We find him now habituating Bayville, patiently waiting for that day to come.

The air was cold and refreshing, and Garret breathed deeply as he stepped out into the night. He smiled as the sweet scent of darkness filled his nostrils, and he glanced up at the sky. Black and littered with stars, there was not a cloud to be seen, and the near-full moon was waning. It was after midnight, and after falling asleep for a few moments at his desk Garret had thought to take Elizabeth out for a ride to clear his head.
Elizabeth was, of course, Garret’s motorcycle. Locking the door to the house behind him, he jingled the keys in his pocket while he rounded the corner to the garage where she was parked for the night.
Upon reaching the garage and opening the door, Garret stood and beheld his beauty. Elizabeth was his pride and joy – a Harley Davidson Titan Cruiser, black and adorned with silver flames. He had been riding her for years now, and still every time he laid eyes on her, she brought a smile to his face. It was the closest thing that Garret had ever experienced to true love, though not through lack of trying.
“Hello, my darling..” he cooed softly, as if speaking to a lover, while caressing the cold steel of the handlebars.
Garret flung his trenchcoat out behind him as he stepped over the motorcycle and kicked it into gear. Having no need for a helmet, his hair billowed out behind him in the same fashion as his coat as he rode out of his driveway and into the darkness, toward the town of Bayville.
