My Birthday is New Year’s Eve. So, not only are people sick to death of shopping (and no one’s gonna battle the after Christmas stores anyway) but they also have better plans than a kids birthday!
I did luck out a little bit though. My mom was born 1 week before Christmas, so she knew about getting the Birthday shaft! She made sure that I had a Birthday party every year (even though it was an early party) complete with Birthday balloons and crate paper and a cake and she always made sure I got a Birthday present from her wrapped in Birthday paper! So as a kid, I always had 1 gift and then a pile of cards with money. At least my mom did all she could.

November 14th my birthday is exactly 2 weeks after my husband, Yes his is on Halloween which is one reason he hates Halloween lol, so for 2 weeks out of the years hes 2 years older than me

lol no peridots are ugly. like they're only pretending to be green or something. Tho I get more compliments on my college ring with a peridot than I get on my wedding rings!

Mine's August 19th. I just turned 38 (yecchh!) I agree about peridots, I hated them when I was younger, for my school ring I got mother-of-pearl instead. Last year my sister made me some earrings with faux-peridot & antique pearls and I find I really like them with white.
