EDIT: I played EQ a little (very little) before getting completely addicted to DAoC for a couple years (guin/alb) and I've been playing WoW since release. I'm a 29 year old wife, mom and secretary.

I also came from DAoC,Iuveth Voorhees 50 cleric of CoT. Just starting to get into WoW, damn RL keeps getting in the way

Along with Zeli and Iuveth, I'm a pround member of Circle of Trust guild on the Silver Hand server.
I also have several Horde alts on Earthen Ring in the Tainted Circle guild.
And in response to the countless "r u a gurl irl?" tells, I answer a hearty yes! (actually, it depends on the tell....sometimes I'm a 400 pound trucker named Tyrone from Butte, Montana.)
I'm......older but not "old", the mom of 2 teenagers, one going off to college in a few weeks...*sniff* I'm a registered nurse with an admittedly cushy day job which allows me to be a message board junkie.
I've been playing MMORPG's since the 90's, starting out with Ultima Online, going to DAoC, primarily in Albion, Guinevere but also in Hibernia on Percival.

Female in real life and mother of four daughters, three of which game, the fourth is just learning computer gaming.
I've played EQ1 (nearly 6 years) DaoC, Earth and Beyond, Asheron's Call 2, Eve Online, Star Wars Galaxies, City of Heroes, EQ2, Anarchy Online, Horizons, Guild Wars and now WoW. I'm not a hard core gamer, really, I'm not. But I am an avid roleplayer.
Oh, and I LOVE that there are others out there, here, that have character names that alike, Zelo, Zela, Zeli, Zele...Haila, Haika, Haillah...makes me feel so much better cuz my characters have been Danyx, Danyxa, Danjil, Danzyn, Danysa, etc.

About me: This is my first MMO.. to tell you the truth I didn't want to play, but I played on the 10 free trial and fell in love. I'm definitely not new to games, I've been playing them since before I could read (I just knew the top button did this and the bottom button did that). Aaaannnd I'm currently going to school for computer animation.
I'm male in RL, 54 years old, been playing MMORPGs since 1999, met my wife in EQ1. It's one of those "met online and then moved across the country to be together" stories

It's my first MMO but not my first RPG. I played diablo 2, and i like almost all the video game. I'm a girl, it's why i'm here, i'm 19 years old and i'm doing studies to become an pilot. English is not my main language, then, if i'm doing a LOT of grammars errors, just correct me if you want! I dont have any boyfriend since 3 days cuz he left me /cry /cry.. scuse me.....

a little about me: my real name is yui and i live in NYC, i'm 20 yrs old and will turn 21 on the 30th this month. (: So I'm a virgo but i don't believe in horoscopes and signs. I am a college student, 1 more yr till I graduate and find a job! YES. I play WoW when I have time to waste but unfortunately, that's not very often anymore. ): I like chatting about RL things instead of in-game mechanics, since I'm not so involved w/ WoW anymore so if i don't reply on WoW topics, it's not cuz i'm shy. lol
This is a neat little idea and I hope the site works out. Guys in WoW are such a bore, but it's the immaturity level that I really can't stand. ): Not all guys, but certainly many of them are really bad.
Freddian: I too met my husband online. He has been my hunting partner since day one. We had been playing MMORPGs for over 4 years before I finally went to Australia to meet him. He then came over to the US a couple of years ago to visit me and has been here ever since. We play with our computer desks next to each other. It is great, but we sometimes have a problem when in groups, because we forget to type in the chat. This is really a problem when we are leading the group, because they don't know where we are going most of the time. *Smiles*

I'm kinda the same, not because I don't wanna chat about WoW, just that I've only recently made the move from DAoC to WoW and haven't had to much time to get to know the game. I'm not really "in" to it yet. Damn RL keeps getting in the way but I like to read about WoW, just not into the game enough to have formed an opinion on most WoW topics.

A UO refugee. Never played a questing game like this before and have grown to absolutely LOVE it! Been playing since about 3-4 months ago (deleted a lvl 30 hunter a few weeks back :O). Met the hubby online (not in a game) and we have been married 1.5 years. Scored two step kids in the process!

Used to play EQ for a few years. This is the first thing I've played since leaving EQ. I really enjoy WoW (especially because my husband and I are a badass team) and our guild rocks!
I have been gaming since I got married 5 years ago. Started in EQ, moved onto DAOC Hib/Tristan made a home there and met my current guildies, then we all transitioned to WoW together, I love it here and have had some great times.

fricken crap... i remember when i was looking at an item and someon mentioned how they had to level it, and i was like.. WHAT? you have to level the items? that was the dumbest thing i had ever heard of. The MLs weren't bad. someone was always running them, but i had decided to ban them and never did it, and then my minstrel was useless. great idea mythic.
I still miss the way DAoC had their BGs. with the fighting for the keep and you could stay all day if you wanted. pop in and out at a whim. I had a few toons I just deleted and remade so I could BG. I didn't care for the big RvR as much, because my computer would turn into a slideshow and then I'd be dead. but the BGs were fun! I wish WoW would have a BG set up like that.

Me too! My favorite was the level 30-35 area. I also really loved Darkness Falls. I had a Nightshade, so it was fun to wait until another side had control of the dungeon, and then I would sneak over and just go around whacking solo people my level to see how long I could survive. It would be nice if WoW had some permanent non-zerg PvP areas like that.
