Re: IAMR's Novel Polling Station Hop
Hey peoples! My names Chris and I'm from Melbourne, Australia! I'm hopping in here from Aussie Survivor Sucks (ASS).

Nice board you have here! I'm not a massive Stars Wars fan but did really enjoy the recent movies! Great stuff!

Yes, they should.

Even if it caused panic, it would at least allow people to meet their end in peace, give them the chance to tie up loose ends, etc.

Not sure if I'd want to know. There are pluses and minuses.

I had to smile at this question. I'm going to ask a history question: Did the people believe Noah when he told them to repent because the earth was going to be destroyed? No, they all laughed at him until the rain began to fall. Sure, why not tell the world? Pandemonium? I doubt very much it would happen.

Good one. :lol

G'day all, hopping through from ASS.

Dunno about that poll question. What would be achieved by telling the world? There would be so many who wouldn't know anyway, those in remote regions and so on. Not all of us have television and constant news channels. There's been a number of doomsday incidents and predictions throughout history that left those who believed high and dry - if not dead - when nothing happened. You'd want to be very sure of your facts before potentially destroying whole societies through setting off panic and anarchy.

Hopping through like a kangaroo from Aussie Survivor Sucks. Er, more like a wallaby really but that doesn't rhyme.

I would have to say yes That way if there was any aliens visiting my place for a party I could hop a ride on one of their ships & take the party on the road.

And if no aliens were at the house I could at least say a final goodbye to my friends and family.

Why not? They wouldn't believe it anyway, there have been so many doomsday warnings, they'd just think it was another one.

very nice place you have here..love the background graphics. thank you for inviting us..hopping in from Amor Immortalis

I have to say yes I would like to know. I think each of us need to live each day as if it would be our last, but I think we have a right to know if the world was coming to an end, but I do agree that it would cause chaos
