Re: The board looks dead
Yes, even without thinking about it, I believe I DO have a little more than you. I did raise two people whom I feel will be an asset to themselves and their off-spring and to my country as well. Just about everything I could have hoped for and my son seems to feel that i may not be such a burden as I fear! Amazing!! Floored me when he started talking to me (he was home on leave for the last 2 weeks, most of which we spent together, just us two!) about opening a business when he gets discharged! He's actually a pretty good hearted person (even with over 40 personal kills, with a rifle or gun!). Gotta love a son like that!
But never forget, good friends are also very hard to find! Which, I feel you are or can be, if you choose to be so, never a bad thing!!!

Thank you kindly sir!
There is always the hope that we shall meet one day. I feel it would be an enjoyable time. Time shall tell and we shall see what the future holds for both of us.
The off-spring is scheduled for Afganistan at the beginning of the year, probably Jan.. There is a chance he'll be able to come once more in Dec. for a few days before he ships out.
fingers and legs crossed with hope!!!! lol

I was planning a bike trip in October. I will be in California again in September, and am riding my bike there. Then I'm gonna take two weeks to ride the North West. I'm meeting a friend in Seatle, and I will be rinding through Colorodo on my way back to Texas.
Tell your Son I said to take care when he gets to Afghanistan. Hopefully he'll get to stop by again before he goes.
