It's the ads. If they keep me away then I know they keep others away to.
I just figured I try non-gold for a time and see but for sure it's because of the ads.
I'll pay it next month.
But see this is what I went through before. I could build a free one that doesn't have ads like this and it would still be this cool... I don't know. I might put this on my projects for next month.

I don't mind kickin in a few buck, I have before. I just don't want to donate, if you are not going to keep the board. I know I was gone for a while, so I don't know what you're intentions are. I also understand that you have alot to keep you busy. Unfortunately, boards where the owner isn't around much, don't do well.

Maybe we could invite the Right Reverend over for a "Board Warming" Party. Reminse about the good ole days. He could eveb do a blessing, so vampires don't invade.
My lovely Lady Widow!!!! damn I'd come all the time - ads or not _ just to maintain contact with such a lovely person.
And we won't even go into great personalities like our friend Lewisja.
I would join in with Lewis on contributing to the board, if I could afford it. right at the moment I am struggling to just cover my truck payments and insurance. (Basically my only 2 bills, other than IP).
I have a friend who has set-up a server of fairly decent speed and size and have been offered as much space as I wish - free. I was toying with the idea of setting up a message board there but the damn coding for such a thing is pretty good sized and I wonder if it's worth the effort. I know and maintain contact with very few people or sites, so it almost seems a good practice in coding but probably not worthwhile to me.( I'm so self-centered!!!! lol).

Works for me - your personality on the internet. I'm much the same way.....then again you do what you have to do to deal with life and it's situations.
Flattery just doesn't get Lady Widow in my arms.....lol!!!!.....she's got an ole' man anyway - he's not as kool as me but I bet he's got more money!!!! lol

Lady Crowe hasn't posted for a few. Breaks my heart. She's got a good mind (or so I choose to believe) and seemingly a better personality than me! Fun to communicate with and enjoy. My problem is I don't think I would be terrorized too much. You have to be afraid to die or something like that and I have little or no fear of dying, and I am an adrenalin jockey! Pretty good combination, huh!
But then there is the media and all that crap, too , as you mentioned.
Guess, it would be wise, to just stick with my own little domain---- Dragonsledge! (Which, sadly, I have been neglecting for months now. To much gambling and real life.
Good news, for me, my son is gonna be in town this weekend, for a couple weeks. My truck will be paid off and all mine (providing I get all the payments paid on time) by November or in November (Christmas present to my self!).
Bad news, work is pretty slow and tags are due this month.
Life can be such a pain, and usually seems to be just taht!! lol
