Re: Voice-overs
I think there are quite a few people who have trouble with "just words on a screen". That is probably why these "virtual worlds" have become so popular...they provide a "body" to do things with, to look at, while you type the "words". As I said, it's not for me, but it's really amazing to me just how many do it.
Re: Voice-overs
Steel, have you seen the movie Brainstorm? Maybe you need one of those machines, rather than a computer! LOL Or better yet...you shouldn't be doing it "over a computer", you should be doing it "in a bed"...
In person is the "tried & true" method for me...much more personal that way too.
Re: Voice-overs
Very good movie with Natalie Wood & Christopher Walkin. It is an older movie, but if you like computer science fiction/fantasy type movies, then I'm sure you'll like it too.
Sometimes, I think it would be neat to hear what someone sounds like, like in a voiceclip. But I tend to be so reticent myself about giving things like that out, that I never suggest it!
Not quite as "out there" as videodrome was. More scientific. It was more about the first "virtual" gear. Meant to be for training purposes & helping blind/deaf people & that sort of thing. Of course, it had a twist to it, as all good movies do. You should check it out.
Not saying it's REAL old, Demon...LOL. BUT...late 80s IS a while ago now...over 15 years old!

I am usually very careful about reading my posts before sending them, but if I'm tired, they still get by me, not that I'm making excuses, or anything...
Here, here to laughing at yourself....why should I let others have all the fun at my expense without getting something out of it myself??

Yacko Warner: Say hello to Christopher Walken!
Christopher Walken: Why, does not any, one, want to say hello to me?
I love that guy. He will be hosting SNL this weakened.
Christopher Walken: What I really want to hear, is more, COW BELL.
Christopher Walken: Dis thing, could get you through the 4th, grade, in about six minutes.

I seen that show too. “I will loose wait because I am having my hair, cut.” He also envited Conan O’Brian to be on SNL. I hope he can make it.
