Cyber - sex.
I confess I don't know how to do cyber-sex or even phone-sex and I like to believe I have a pretty fair imagination. Now you take the actual physical stuff and I can buzzz right-a-long!!!! (Or is that Hummmmm.)

This is something Im a bit familiar with.
Really, it involves simply writing descriptively.
The more descriptive, the "better" it seems to be
for the one whos being written to.
Trouble is, like oral activity in real life, , its often a one-sided
thing, and the one on the other end is unwilling, or unable to
write back interestingly at all.
Also, it gets taken way too seriously--to me its just using
the imagination and writing . But too many are physically
hooked on it, doing the "one-handed-typing" thing.
That's when I feel Im being used by them for REAL sex online,
and that not what Im about. Im not interested in
being anyones Cyber-Toy.
One sure clue to this, is the minute you talk to them, they want
that "special-typing", they keep hinting til you do it, when
you dont they get pissy, and they never want normal
conversation with you again.
Ive found the friendship gets pretty boring pretty fast at that
point.
And Since its more likely than not theyre gonna be that way,
I tend to stay away from it.
I just write too damn descrptively for my own good.
Re: Cyber - sex.
Actually KIng, her analogy is pretty accurate.
Its my personal experience that women (or gilrls who SAY
theyre women--who the hell knows sometimes?)
are much more prone to become hooked on being talked to
this way thana guy. There are exceptions, of course,
but it may also be a "younger" thing too.
Ive been entertained by the interaction, but not "thrilled"
anywhere near the point of needing or "craving" it.
I suppose that, in addition to the sexual feelings it can
produce if properly "executed" lol, it can also just make an
underconfident person feel better about them selves, much as
a "smooth talker" can do that for someone in real life.
Re: Cyber - sex.
Ah, I see...so you were "losing something" in the transition
from brain to mouth to keyboard, and therefore losing
the whole "mood" of the thing?
Re: Cyber - sex.
I have Via-Voice but it's only for dictating letters and missives, etc. and you still have to use your hands for the punctuation. It's really cool though - to talk and see the words being typed (sometimes ya gotta repeat yourself several times and you have to talk in a monologue kinda way.The program doesn't take to emotional vocal inflections very well.
fun to play with though.

Voice-overs
It doesn't seem like it would be much fun to talk with a computerized voice...unless it DID have personality in it. It would probably make it more interesting, if you could hear the laughter in someone's voice, or any other emotions as well.
