Let me make something clear to you, and to all who are following this thread. Only a moron looks upon human misery in any form, and makes light of it. "Bums", whether they are in that helpless and thoroughly miserable situation due to mental problems or drug/alcohol abuse, still have the same feelings you and I possess. They suffer agonizing emotional pain just as we "normal" people do, they suffer physical injury just as we do and they suffer humiliation just as keenly as we do. That they are in a diminished capacity and will do virtually anything for a buck or for acceptance...even for a few minutes...is not an invitation for others to inlflict themselves upon these unfortunate souls.
Those producers did a terrible thing by tempting these poor people to hurt themselves and each other for money. And that asshole who thought it so hilarious to terrify and brutalize a sleeping man by acting out a Steve Irwin "Crocodile Hunter" fantasy was about the worst of the lot. But I think it's the cruel individuals that not only laughed as they watched those acts being carried out but actually approve of them, are the same sort of people who would giggle and elbow each other while watching the atrocities committed by the Nazi's in the film Shindler's List. Makes one wonder who is acting in a diminished capacity, the performers or the audience, doesn't it??
Shame on ANYONE who can find pleasure in wwatching others suffer. You arel, and have aways been, the ones who cry and plead the loudest when it's your turn to suffer.
