We celebrate St Patricks Day here in New Zealand too. "Green beer day" DemonHart... hope its a good one.
My parents & my older sister came here by boat from Holland,

Green beer day here in Cali means Budweiser with green
food coloring dumped in. Still gives me just a s big a
headache as regular bud. Ales. Hearty, stout, carmely
full bodied ales, thats wht its about.

no backpedaling!! I was iniataly agreeing with you - until you decided you might bet against yourself (about being nicer than Americans - societally ie. courteous,etc..) once you made thst statement, well then I had to cover my own behind.
