Shadra has a dark sense of humor, finding amusement in the pathetic dreams and aspirations of others. She values strength and ruthlessness when its needed. She is very ambitious and has no qualms using others for her gain. She’s extremely cunning, and wise and has an uncanny ability to tell when she is being lied to. She is not easy to anger, but when she is, she never forgives or forgets. Finally, she never leaves an enemy alive figuring, a dead enemy is the best enemy.
Biography:
In her first life, Shadra was born into a family similar to the Gypsies of old. They moved all over the world, wherever her parents would set up scams for easy cash.
She has lived in a variety of shelters she never actually called home. She actually has no real sense of what home really is. But she has lived in everything from mansions to shelters made of tarps stretced between convenient trees.
She and her siblings were taught at a young age to use whatever wiles they had going for them, and taught to adapt to any and all situations.
At one time, a Japanese gentleman claiming to be a descendant of a real ninja warrior, travelled with them extensively, his performance with swords and staffs earning them extra cash in the small towns they stopped off in. He was only known to them as Tatsumaru.
Tatsumaru taught Shadra and her siblings the ways of the blade and staff, but Shadra inevitably outshone her brothers and sisters, and soon became a vital part to the show. Being so pleased with her facility for learning, the samurai went on to extend her training to all aspects of fighting, until Shadra herself, became a force to be reckoned with.
When she was 28, and having serious thoughts about leaving the group and striking out on her own, as her other siblings had done, her father entered a scam that was bigger than anything they'd ever done before.
Shadra never really knew exactly what the scam was, but she did know about all the fights her parents had because of it.
Her mother had always claimed to be a descendant of a Gypsy Seer, and she was upset that Shadra's father would get them involved in something without consulting her first. Shadra's mother had a bad feeling about this job, and kept begging her father to pull out. He refused, and they all ended up paying for it.
While travelling a long, lonely mountain road from one hamlet to the next, their caravan of vehicles were ambushed by over fifty men with automatic rifles. She and Tatsumaru were the last to fall, but fall they did.
Waking up in this new dimension, she was disoriented as most, but adapted quickly. Mainly in part to the first life she had lived. Sensing her strength, people gravitated to her, sensing that it would be beneficial to be with her instead of against her.
Some wanted to pay her for her protection, and soon after that, the Collectors were created.

Additional information:
For the last two years of her five years so far in this new dimension, she has been keeping a low profile. She is the creator of the Collection which has since taken over the running of Anarab, and for security reasons, only her most trusted Searchers and the other three Collectors have ever seen her in person and know who she is. To those outside the Collection, she is merely called The Donia.
Further note:
All Collection members are marked somewhere on their body with a symbol stating they are part of the Collection. The symbol also serves to state what their status is in the Collection with different designs for every level.
This symbol is branded into the skin using a special magic Shadra had tortured a Tree Elf for. She only shared the secret with the 3 other Collectors.
A true mark will remain inert when looked upon by a true Collector or Searcher... however, if the mark is a forgery, it will burn the wearer horribly, usually giving them away as imposters. The Searcher usually deal with these imposters on the spot, but some are brought to a Collector for judgement.
Here are the basic symbols.
The other three Collectors have added on to these for individuality, even among their personal Searchers and Plebeians. But these basic marks are primarily The Donia's and is used for her personal staff, as well as any unattached servers.

"The white city fell without her. Peace revolved around her, but when the mother left her children, they destroyed one another... She'll never forget that she left--she'll wear the chains of the martyr as she pulls the world's weight behind her, still thinking she's not doing enough." Morrigan Aensland
