Appearance: Xavinx is how most would describe as a "regular looking guy." He has worked very hard on not making himself stand out in a crowd, since, due to his former occupation, that would be a negative trait. His short onyx black hair is cut in a very tight and regular style, and it sets off his chestnut brown eyes in a very calm manner. His apricot skin goes very nicely with his "common" look, and his black button down shirt and dark jeans round out what could be a very forgettable character. His face is smooth and clean-shaven, and shows no signs of facial hair or scars. His body, while obviously kept in demandingly rigid physical shape also bears no scars or tattoos. Xavinx walks with a pronounced stride, often giving the "I mean business look."
Personality: Xavinx is, on the surface, a very calm and mild mannered individual who blends into a crowd. His calmness and mild temper often attract the friendship of those around him, and he welcomes all he can get. His intellectual style and political views also often make him a powerful and convincing debater. He has spent more than a few afternoons arguing with a companion over lunch on rather wars are being handled properly or rather the current economic status could be improved. This leads to most who know him thinking of him as a friend and hardworking common man. For most people he knows, this is an accurate impression, and the only side of him they will ever see.
Xavinx also has a bit of a shadowy underside. Due to his former occupation, he has learned to be a keen observer of people and their actions, always wondering what reason he has to mistrust those around him. In his experiences, most have proven themselves to be untrustworthy. Those who are closest to him, however, know of his undying loyalty and razor sharp mind. They are just some of the reasons he was so good in his line of work. Also particularly handy was his sense of stealth and ability to blend into the night when he completed his tasks. What really set him apart from everyone else, though, was his ability to numb his mind and twist the pain he caused into justified reason. It allowed him to "extract" information and insight from who he needed it from in more than inhumane ways, and yet still sleep peacefully at night. This allows him to possess quite a bit of valuable and not always legal information which he sometimes might use to his advantage.
Biography: "Just a simple journalist." This is how about 99% of the people who saw Xavinx and his tidy little printing shop saw him. He was known as a thorough and insightful editor with a very pronounced opinion, and he didn't hesititate to share it with anyone who would hear it. His newspaper, "The Icy River," was quite popular in his small hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska, and it allowed him to maintain a fairly simple and comfortable life. His articles weren't powerful political scandals or bloody shootings, but they did keep the locals sharp in the mind as he challenged everyday beliefs and traditions. At a time, he was so liked that he was ask by a majority of the city to run for mayor. He politely declined with all due humility and kept his little paper going.
One night, as the Northern Lights shown down beautifully on the cold Alaska ice, local authorities were called to his home to investigate what was thought to be a small brush fire in the wooded area behind his house. What they found, however, was a fire that had begun to rage out of control from his fireplace. After putting it out, they began to search throughout the house to find how such an event could have occurred. They called out to him, and when no answer was heard, began to search more vigorously. Finally, much to their sadness, they found a young healthy Xavinx slumped over in a chair in his study. No official cause of death could be determined, so it was officially reported as natural causes. Fairbanks buried one of it's own, and the life of a normal man was over in the eyes of most. A few, however, knew better than that and didn't believe the coincidence.
At one time, Xavinx was a member of a group known as the Lamashtin Order. They were a group who operated in North and South America with impunity from all governments on those continents. Their purpose was simple. They were to protect the interests of the Western Hemisphere above all else. They were quite skilled in that line of work, and became a thorn in more than a few politicians' sides. To some, they were renegade terrorists who attacked and done whatever they wanted to, so long as it served the Order's best interests. This included coercing information in less than friendly ways from those who knew it, removing political figures from power who didn't serve the best interests, observing a few events in foreign countries, and a few other not so favorable dealings. Whatever the views of the few that knew that they existed, they were a group to be feared and respected. Xavinx served the Order above and beyond his duties, and he was proud of his service. He became irritated at the new leadership of the group after the last Head was assassinated, and he had somewhat of a falling out. He was finally expelled from the group and warned to never divulge what he knew to anyone, lest he and his family meet a very unfortunate and painful ending. He honored his side of this agreement, but one can't help but find it odd that such a young and healthy person could meet such an early demise...
Powers, if any: Xavinx posses a higher than normal IQ, a keen sense of deduction, and razor sharp wit. Nothing super human though.
Weapons, if any: Xavinx keeps no weapons on his person.
Additional information: Xavinx is just your standard former double agent turned journalist, trying to scratch out a normal living while trying to form another group similar to the Order in the afterlife.
