Nuki Clyn Clie
Name : Nuki Clyn Clie
Age : 12
Race : Human

Personality :

Nuki acts like she is the little sister that is always getting in the way at the wrong point in time. She always seems to be getting in the middle of things, asking questions, and following random people around to see what they do in their free time. Though Nuki appears to be a very annoying child--she is very smart. The flips side to her happier personality is her serious personality, the personality that is dangerous to those who wish to harm her friends.

Appearance :

Nuki has long light brown hair that falls to her lower back. Her large, purple eyes seem to take everything in, as if they were two voids. Some baby fat still visible on her cheeks, but not enough to make her look too chubby. Nuki is usually found wearing a white dress that reaches her ankles, and she usually runs around barefoot, finding no need for shoes.

History :

Nuki's father was a priest--a priest that preached hellfire and damnation and human supremacy. She had grown up, used to this, her mother's spirit so broken that even while her eyes overflowed with tears she could not speak up for herself or anyone else. Her mother didn't speak unless alone with her, whispering soft comfortings after a harsh lecture at the dinner table or a speech about her worthlessness in the yard in front of all her friends. Nuki's five-year-old brain took the berating and the verbal blows to her very core, mixing, inside of her, a deep, darker personality behind the pure innocence she kept around her. She was married before she was born, promised to a young farmer boy--her uncle's youngest and a real arrogant snot. She'd often pound him in a game of mud-wrestling out by the pond, and get the lectures again coming home. Nuki didn't know what to do, because, somewhere, in the back of her mind, she wished she could live up to his every expectation, while logic told her it was an impossible feat.

When she turned 10, she had been given the chore of running out into the woods and gathering wild berries by her mother, convinced the time away from home would do her some good. That was where she met the girl who became her life and her death: Lakyra T'rawn Nesay, the high elf and daughter to a priest of her own kind. Nuki had found a friend; a girl to share her brightest hopes and fondest dreams with. Lakyra was open to Nuki, and years passed while their friendship bloomed... Nuki became more self-confident, less frightened. She was able to speak up for herself, though it earned her a few bruisings and she'd go running back to cry to the two loves of her life -- Lakyra and her mother. Nuki was slowly growing up, and her mind blossomed under the teachings of the much older Lakyra. Although her elvish beau was older than her by almost a century, they were both children, and children develop in a way no adult can... Nuki and Lakyra developed together, like souls entwined, and the wisdom no human could grasp was bestowed upon Nuki in the form of a magical pendant she keeps hidden on her person.

Nuki had few things to give Laki, though she did do her best to repay her with everything she did find close to her heart. It was with a smile she came to the clearing only 5 months before her death with a book in hand of scrapped love letters she had made for Lakyra. In return, she was bestowed with the gift that would followe her even into the afterlife--Kika. The sprite was a guardian, assigned to watch Nuki from a safe distance so that she would not be caught by her father and cause Nuki trouble. It was this distance that would prevent her from saving Nuki in her time of need.

The fiery sprite was not the last gift Nuki would receive from her elvish love; this gift came on the eve of her 12th birthday. As the young girl ran through the woods to meet her secret friend, it was a surprise to see not just Lakyra, but her father, beside her, and two glittering silver rings in his hands. Lakyra took a few steps forward, and, in that moment, as the soft hands glided over her cheeks and those full, decorated lips met her own, Nuki knew what was happening. Lakyra had explained this before, the way an elf proposed with magic gifts and a kiss before the eyes of their father. All Nuki had to do was accept the gift and Laki would be hers forever until she died--and Nuki would never be alone.

As the small, silver ring was extended toward her, Nuki resisted the urge to grasp the sprite from the hands of Laki's father, her urge to be with her heart so strong. She knew what she wanted, and that was Lakyra. With a small bow, Nuki accepted her engagement slowly and with the utmost respect, her lips pressing to Laki's once more in the final seal with silver rings upon their fingers, fingers clasped between them.

Nuki and Lakyra were not aware that this would be the last time they met, and it was not until late that night, when she heard her mother and father fighting, Nuki realized it, as well. They screamed of a magic creature her father had seen on the edge of the forest, leaving their daughter to flit back amongst the trees to hide. As Nuki cracked the door to stare in horror, she witnessed the death of her mother as she heard her speak, for the first time, to her father. Maybe if Nuki had run then, she would have lived; if she had not been steeled in her paralyzed state, she might have been able to call out for help. 'Maybe'... 'if'... Useless words that cannot change the past or the future.

How does your character act with Crystal Dinaia?: Sadness is what Nuki feels from Crystal, and being the child that she is, she is continiousily trying to lift the woman's spirits. Originally Nuki was annoyed by Crystal's outspoken mind, but over the years she has become used to it and accepted it; you must not let the small things in life get in the way of the larger picture.

How does your character act with Morrigan Aensland?: Morrie! Nuki loves Morrigan, ever since she first stumbled upon the succubus. She acts like a child around Morrigan, enjoying what she had lost in the living world. Morrigan is her older sister--even though she is older then Morrigan.

How does your character act with Nuki Clyn Clie?: Nuki... Nuki is indifferent to herself. She ignores her own emotions so that she can try lose the pain that she gained when she left the living and joined living.

How does your character act with Lumen Atra?: Lumen, Nuki enjoys Lumen, but has not become as personal with this man as with the other Council members.

How does your character act with Kentaro Maeda?: Eep! Kentaro scares Nuki. There is something that is in the wolfman that Nuki does not like, something dark that she feels is reaching out to her. What is it? She wants to know what he is feeling, what has happened in his past, but whenever she has to sit down with this man she cannot find her usually hyper active tongue.

[ Name ]
Kirei na Kashu (Kika)

[ Age ]
?

[ Personality ]
Brazen and friendly, Kika finds herself often tangled in other people's business. Though, as a guardian, she keeps close watch on Nuki at all times, the little flitting fire sprite can't help but get caught up in all sorts of messes of her own. Being made completely of elven magicks, she lacks the capacity to communicate with speech. Maybe that is why her name is so ironic, translating to "Pretty Singer". The little beast flits in and out of visibility, poofing away in small tufts of smoke or flame. She's an effective spy, and her lute playing is entrancing.

[ Physical Description ]
A glowing red aura accompanies the soft, comfortable heat the little sprite gives off, gold and red slipping around her body as some light coat of paint. Golden pantaloons hang around her legs loosely, matching a top that supports her small breasts and wraps up around her slim neck. The silky smooth gold of her tummy peaks out between her cloth suiting, her body unhindered and unadorned by fanciful jewelry or pretty stones. She is magical in a simple way, without wings, without flames constantly dancing at her heels. Her cimson eyes dance, though, and if one stares far enough into them, they might see a past life--a companion she left behind on the other side... they might see the blue behind the red, see the ocean of tears that the little one could never cry; most only saw the surface of the water, dancing with red flames and gold coins.

Her smooth skin moved up into ears that were neither natural nor practical, silky smooth fur that sprung out in a small arrangement of featherlike coils grew from the tip of each, their touch alone proving the oddity of Kika's existence. Their very touch was the softest thing in all the dimensions, and, at the same time, the hardest. They would not break nor shatter, would not give way, but they blew in breezes so soft and light that the human skin would not notice them. Her hair was as wild as she, red strands spiking out and dashing before her face to conceal her eyes and then swimming away again. The spikey tuft of unruly bangs were soft and auburn, the rest gathered strictly with a golden cord into a pony tail that stood on end, the short tails falling apart into their own little spikes.

[ History ]
Kika was born of magic, attached to another soul to watch and live as long as that soul did. A guardian, the fire sprite had been woven by the hands of a young elvish ----girl----, coming int life with her red eyes open and staring forward. Kika had no life of her own, but she had grown attached to the life of Nuki, her Kana, or the one who bore her soul. She had played, as a young entity, with Mugon no Odorite, the guardian born of the same day as she. The little fire sprites were an engagement ring, a promise that the elvish girl would never love another beside Nuki. Kika and Mudo had blossomed beneath these souls, and the emotions had overflowed... Kika and Mudo were far too human to be simply magic. Mudo sang, Kika played the lute, Mudo was shy, Kika was forward... and they were as much in love as their Kanas.

Absolute that they were destined to be together, nobody minded this otherwordly attachment. The magick sprites would go on with their Kanas, close to one another... until Nuki died, and, with her, Kika found herself shrinking from existence. In her last days, she had remembered Mudo weeping--but it had not been Mudo, it had been Naru, Mudo's Kana. Mudo had spoken to Kika so lovingly that when Kika closed her eyes, she was sure she'd wake up and everything would be as it was... but she awoke without Mudo, and with no voice to scream her name.
