Shi no Megami - Sae'ni
Name: Sethy

ICQ - 122507557

Character's name: Shi no Megami (Goddess of Death) Sae'ni
Age Upon Entering/At Death: Eternal
Age Now: Eternal
Race: Elemental Goddess of the Pantheon, Youngest of the six.
The Pantheon - The pantheon is made up of many different gods and goddesses and they hold the main power in this universe (other gods and goddesses have prevailed over other pieces of the multiverse, but we know this one is here because of manifestations thereof). The Elemental Gods are the eldest under Father and Mother dragon, Light, Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, and then Dark, born in that order with strength. Each holds a seperate category or two which they preside over - Light conducts life, Earth conducts order, Wind conducts thought, water conducts relationship, fire conducts destruction, and dark conducts chaos/death.
Below them are the primary gods, who conduct the more largely important pieces of survival, war, chastity, sexuality, etc. The gods are known to their people as anything they wish.
Below these are secondary gods, who conduct things less important to survival but imperative to people.. religion, art, madness, etc.
The pantheon is not set in stone except that the elemental gods have their elements and what is laid out in this profile's biography. If you wish to have something to do with the pantheon, then you don't have to ask, just follow the general idea.
NOTABLY: YOU MAY NOT ACTUALLY PLAY A GOD WHO IS STILL A GOD! That's TOTALLY TOO POWERFUL! I only make note of the pantheon because I play fallen gods from it. And I only put it in so much detail because another god has been referenced and if kentaro wants to insert her into the pantheon, he can, and therefore he will have different interaction with this character. If not, his goddess just presides heavily in another universe and came to him here. That's all.
Appearance:
Shi's blue curls fall to just long enough to brush the curve of her neck. If she grabs the tips and stretches them out, they reach to her shoulders. The eye that shows is a golden yellow and slitted, harsh to look at but appealing to some. Her skin is white, contrasting the black she always wears and the dark, deep blue of her silken hair. Beneath the curls that cover the right side of her face is a slitted eye of the deepest red, never seen by mortals for the curse it contains inside of it. Much like her former lover, it's a connection to her soul that will never be broken.
Personality:
Shi's personality has always embodied her element. She loves to cause destruction and it made the rest of the pantheon restless about her. The first great wars were her doing, a love of hers to encourage mortals to run headlong into their deaths. With Fedafyr around, she found a center of sanity in which she found her calm, in love with him so thoroughly that she thought nothing of mortals and merely annoyed her brothers and sisters without thinking much of it.
Biography:
The mother had her white children, and the children were to govern and help the mother grow--and then her green children were born, meant to be governed over and lead by her white children. We, the pantheon, are the white children. Mother Earth and Father time gave birth to us and gave us power, and therefore, we were given rules, unlike her green children.
Rule 1: No decisions will be made to alter the pantheon unless an elemental god speaks with the father and mother dragon and gets confirmation.
Rule 2: The dark half of the gods and the light half of the gods will hold different messengers, and these messengers will not procreate (Angels and devils)
Rule 3: The gods will interfere only minorly in mortal affairs, and the lower gods will work to cover it up.
Rule 4: If a god is voted from the pantheon, his responsibilities and powers will be passed to the god most suited to take his place.
These rules were always to be followed, lest the world be thrown into chaos... but some are less interested in bending to willpower of higher ups.. and more suited for the higher roles of life, or so they think.
Sae'ni was happily in love. She did not care that Fedafyr and herself embodied two completely different principles, because when she laid down at night beside him, she knew that she was safe and warm. But jealousy grew in the heart of a primary goddess--the goddess of Chastity. She loved Fedafyr as well, and so it was easy to use her emotions against her.
Vulnerable as she was, the Chastity took the word of Fedafyr's closest friend and pupil, Religion. He told her that Shi treated Fedafyr badly, and that although in polite company they seemed happy, Fedafyr gave his all and never returned anything back... and if Chastity really cared, she'd find a way to save him....
Time went by... Chastity looked, but could not find a way...
Then Religion handed her a spell.
This spell requires more power than you can muster to seal an elemental god, but you will take her out of the loop... she'll merely sleep, and disappear. She will be gone, and you will be left to save Fedafyr from himself...
And Chastity thought about it... and the more she thought.... the more she liked the idea of being his hero... and so she convinced other gods to help her cast this spell. A spell she really didn't know the consequences of, and so the mortal life for Shi was set in motion.
In bed one night, Shi woke to a thunderous crack as her bed split and something grasped her. Stronger than gravity, these chains dragged her into the center of the Mother's stomach, and she watched the surface close as Fedafyr fought the spell to break in. These fires set upon her flesh but did not kill her. The pain of the chains biting to her bones was torture but neverending. Thus her powers were kept for the gods, preserved inside of her, but unable to be unleashed in any physical form.
Fedafyr fell ill with heartsickness.
He locked himself in his room and looked for remedies with his only friend.
He found that remedy, and it cost him his own power.
Religion gained the status of an elemental god, and Chastity realized her mistake far too late.

Breathe.
Shi's lips parted, her lungs filling with oxygen instead of sulfur. Her chest expanded, pressing the flesh of her full breasts against the tight leather of her bodice. Cleavage pressed fully against the tight curve of her low neckline, her throat constricted beneath the tattered cape that barely held to her body but covered her face, fluttering as the carbon dioxide exited past her teeth. The warm feel of her breath against her parched lips was branding, the burns still not fully healed from her extremities, though they were gaining reformation quickly. Tongue slid across her lips, burning, but moistening them as they healed.
Feel.
Cold--chill. Burning faded away. Her skin, fully repaired, now tasted the bitter touch of the floor against its unprotected underside. Her teeth slid across her tongue, reveling in the soft slits it made that almost instantaneously disappeared again. The soft curls of her hair that were caught on the boards and pulling against her scalp sent tingling shivers through her body. She had been burning so long and staring at a lost lover through a mirror--she appreciated it with all her being.
Taste.
Fresh air. Blood. The two tastes converged in her mouth to drag a hidden smile to her lips. It was wonderful, to taste again. Wonderful to feel, to hear, to know that life was within reach--power was once again within reach.
See.
Lashes fluttered, one gold eye coming into existance as she stared upward. The world blazed into existance through the blurred haze of eyes that hadn't seen anything but the dire heat waves of the flames that had been her prison and a lover wracked in pain to set her free. The clouds above her mocked her, floating lazily across the sky as she sat inside the broken shacks remains. Her sentence was up... somewhere here was the heart that beat without a soul because he gave it up for her...
Move.
Her leg slid up, placing the heavy sole of her boot onto the floor. When her body moved, the soft creak of leather accompanied it. Each movement was approached with precision--grace. When she finally stood to her feet, she was nothing but regal, the blue curls danced around her face, highlighting the glowing gold eye that focused in on the path that would lead her to her lover. Somewhere on this planet, but she'd be looking for people first. Someone could answer where Fedafyr was...
Speak.
"Where are you, Love? I see a darkness and a symbol of archaic magic much to weak to hold you--but you will not let me in... why is that?" She stepped forward and smelled the heavy scent of alcohol off to the South. Drunkards talked--that was where she'd go. Alive again, the beauty of it held no meaning without saving what was precious to her... and after that...
She'd take revenge.
Powers, if any: ... to be continued...
Weapons, if any: Claws and fangs.
