Appearance: Tai is 5'6" and 140 lbs. Tai is a beautiful woman who has had to work to disinterest men around her. Her sometimes thorny and abrasive manner does not always work to keep them away from her. She has a body with lush curves that belies the muscle tone she has worked hard to maintain. She keeps her long, lustrous black hair in a long braid that hangs down past her back. Her emerald eyes are almost shockingly rich against the palor of her face, with an almond shape that only enhances the strangeness. Her lashes fan out in a crescent to lie with a sensual kiss upon her face. She has elements of both the asian and grecian ancestry that creates her beauty in a meld of features. With high, aristocratic cheekbones, a wide, full cupid's bow mouth, and a softly rounded jaw, Tai fulfills many fantasies.
Personality: Abrasive. I would leave it at that, but I suppose I will explain why. Tai decided rather early on in life that she would do what she wanted rather than be told. That contrasted VERY strongly with the upbringing that lay ahead of her. Taking matters into her own hands, she decided destiny was one's own. She is abrupt and extremely independant. She hates taking help and will fight accepting it with a passion that defies most people's common sense and sense of the practical. She is usually quiet unless she decides that her point of view either has not been brought up or has not been regarded well. Woe to those who see her as a beautiful object, for she will make them regret it with all her considerable force of personality. She has little respect for any kind of authority, but those who have earned her respect will likely never lose it, though they know not why. Her sense of what is right and wrong, law and chaos, has been regarded by some as rather loose, though frankly she cares little what others think. Her judgements are hers to make, and pity upon those who presume to make judgments for her or upon her.
Biography: Tai was born to a wealthy Shou( oriental setting of her homeworld) lord who lived in an ancient estate high in the misty mountains of her native country. Her Greek mother died in childbirth, a fact that forever kept her and her father apart. He decided to raise her through tutors and maids to become the most perfect of women, that she would marry quickly and leave him to his grief and misery. However, the young Tai was quick to thwart his plan, leaving her tutors to their lessons, she would slip away and watch her father as he watched over affairs of their world. Growing to her teens, she finally refused the lessons outright and told her father what she wanted to do; be like him. They fought bitterly when he brushed aside her wants and told what she would do. What she would do or die for disobeying her father. She left that night, erasing his influence from her life forever by forsaking his name.
Powers, if any: Tai has an interesting ability to mimic spellcasters almost supernaturally, though she has no actual spellcasting ability of her own. She steals spells and supernatural powers from those she fights. She can also, if the spellcaster agrees, borrow a spell from a companion. She has also picked up some ninjutsu on her travels.
Weapons, if any: When Tai died, she was in the middle of an all-out war, leaving her with a heavy crossbow, a set of six enchanted returning daggers that were a gift from a good friend, shuriken, and and a short sword. Since being in Nureese, she has picked up more caltrips and various assorted weaponry suited to the town.
