Appearance:Kentaro is a light skinned, Asian man. He stands 5'7" and weighs 140 pounds. His hair is raven black and goes to his lower back. Usually, he keeps it in a tight ponytail, but sometimes he lets it blow freely in the wind. His face is free of both scars and emotions. His eyes are a dark red, but tend to brighten with the amount of light in the sky. On a new moon, his eyes become black.
In his wolf form, his coat is as black as his hair. The only thing that remains human about him are his eyes. They retain the same shape and colour scheme. His teeth are pearly white, and seem to glow in the night. His tongue is a pale pink, and is usually extended when the wolf begins panting.
In his wolf/human hybrid, he stands 6'3" and weighs around 245 pounds. It is in this form that he brings characteristics in from both forms. His eyes are the same as they are in the two former forms. However, his face is more animal then human and full of feral rage. His teeth retain their nightly glow, but his tongue is a bit darker.
His clothing style of choice is a traditional black kimono. Underneath, he usually wraps his stomach and chest in bandages. His socks are white, and he wears traditional sandals. A holy symbol of Fuilteach is worn around his neck. In addition, the symbol is usually sewn on the back of his kimino.
Personality: When it all boils down to it, Kentaro is full of hatred and rage. However, he also knows the other emotions, and strives for happiness and love. He fears getting close to individuals, on an emotional basis. He believes himself incapable of loving simply because of what he is. However, he has survived this long without love. What's another 3 centuries?
The real aspects of Kentaro's personality depends on what side he is playing. He has two sides that he plays most frequently. First, and most known, is his role as one of the 12 elders. He takes his duties very seriously and usually puts everything else on second priority to his duties to Genil. He does his best to keep the peace. But he will not hesitate to go to war if it means defending the city.
His second role is High Priest of the Church of Fuilteach. The goddess gave him the powers he uses to this day. As such, he has devoted his second life to spreading the word of the Goddess of Blood and Gore. In truth, he loves her. He just can't bring himself to accept the truth. He feels unworthy of her attention.
Biography: Born into a world where the samurai were a dying breed, Kentaro grew up with the fantasies of the wandering swordsmen in his mind. So when he was of age, he sought out an elder who taught him martial arts. The training was much more difficult then the boy anticipated, but he held strong. Before long, he was taught the ways of a sword.
Over time, his skill became rather deadly. He had developed a talent that a lot of people didn't like. They feared him. They hated him. It was this combination of fear and hatred that would be his downfall.
One morning, he woke up to find a row of riflemen standing around him, their guns pointed at him. They apologized for what they had to do, but it was something that would benefit Japan as a whole, or so they told him. He reacted quickly, cutting down some of the men, but their bullets proved too much as they tore through skin and bone. He fell that day.
And that was the end of his story on Earth.
As he was bathed in sunlight, the man opened his eyes to see himself surrounded by eleven other people. No one knew where they were. No one knew how to return from where they came from. Everyone was stuck, so they bonded together. That was the story of the 12 Elders.
Over time, more individuals began to come into their world. And over time, civilizations and cities were built. The 12 Elders took their place as rulers of Genil. Councils of other souls ruled the other two cities. In the beginning, things were good. However, as with most things, they quickly turned sour.
Petty disputes turned to heavy arguements. The cities were on the brink of war, and there was nothing the council could do to prevent it. Over a hundred years of peace and everything had boiled down to this. Why hadn't he done his part to prevent it? He didn't know. But, he knew that there was no changing the past, so he prepared himself for battle.
The armies had been trained long ago. Their members being assembled for the first time. The Elder feared that it wouldn't be the last. However, as the day of battle drew near, he received assistance from a divine presence. Fuilteach came to him, and offered him power for servitude. Fearing the loss of his city and the council, he accepted, and was turned into a monster.
Even with Nureese and Anarab combined together to wipe out the forces of Genil, they couldn't hold up to the Elder and his army. Although suffering heavy casualties, Kentaro ensured that those who wished to make an attack on Genil would think twice about trying it. His life was now forfeit to Fuilteach, but he never faltered on his duties as a leader.
However, five months into the war, Kentaro formed a hunting party to eliminate all of the Generals of Nureese and Anarab. For years, they tracked down every last soul and brought them to a brutal end. However, things weren't the same when he returned to Genil. The people hated him. They said he abandoned them. He tried to tell him what he had done, but they wouldn't listen. It appeared as though every elder had left the city.
To commemorate those lost in the war, and to win back some public approval, Kentaro raised a large plot of land in the center of the city and dedicated it to those who fought. Both the living and deceased had received recognition for their struggle. To this day, the Elder gives the credit of victory to the soldiers.
In addition, he constructed a temple to Fuilteach. He named himself high priest, and caught the city by surprise. His sermons were full of violence and hatred. The spectacles found within the church's walls resembled those of the old Roman slaughter sports. Fuilteach was pleased by this, and as such, gave him two katanas that were directly linked to his soul. As his fury burned, so did the blades.
Powers, if any: Shapeshift - Common werewolf stuff. Can turn into a wolf or a wolf/human hybrid. Doesn't need the moon to do so.
Heightened senses- Mainly smell and hearing. However, his eyesight is rather keen as well.
Regeneration - Rather quick healing abilities. Can heal anything from minor cuts to severed limbs. The time depends on the severity of the wound. However, silver wounds do not heal quickly, if at all. Also, if you cut off his head, he's not going to grow it back.
Enhanced Speed/Strength - Mainly found in wolf/human hybrid form. However, in his human form, Kentaro is quicker and stronger then he was before he died.
Weapons, if any: Two soulblade katanas.
Additional information: He's a sucker for wine and cheese.
How does your character act with Crystal Dinaia?: Very casual. He values Crystal's council. How does your character act with Morrigan Aensland?: With caution. He has yet been given a reason to trust her. How does your character act with Nuki Clyn Clei?: Who? How does your character act with Lumen Atra?: A dear friend. He shall be missed. How does your character act with Lady Kro?: Rather well. A fellow warrior. It's a quality he can appreciate.

It looks great! Just one question about Kentaro. How did he become a werewolf? Was the power given to him when he became a priest of Fuliteach? I got a little confused about it all but truly, he's a great character!
(I really like the regeneration part. Makes for great fights that can be done again and again!)
I'm going to go ahead and move him to Accepted Characters. I do have one request, however. When Nuki puts his Application up, can you edit your post with your feelings toward him? That'd be swell! I can actually retype Lumen's application myself today so that future Elders can include their past feelings toward him.
