Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Silinde let out a scream, feeling the gush of fluid from his lover that brought him to his very own release. He was thoroughly ravished, loved, and spent.

His Aearlin was the single most important thing in his life, and every moment in his presence was a blessing to Sil. But soon they would need to leave the confines of their tent, and venture out on their adventure. Silinde hated to think of all that they would be faced with. He knew that they would face many dangers, and though his older lover was more than capable of dealing with any situation, he couldn't help but feel protective. He would do everything and anything to keep harm away from his beloved, even prolonging their leave. "Can we stay longer melleth."

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Aearlin frowned, holding his lover closer to him for a few long moments. Warm. Loved. Yes, they'd spent thousands of years like this, defying time itself to remain together. And like Silinde, he wanted more time. A light kiss was gifted to his beloved's forehead, and he gently pulled back to sit up, taking the other blond into his own lap for another round of cuddling. "I wish we could, love. I'd rather be here like this with you than anywhere doing anything else." He frowned then, before giving his beloved an extra squeeze. "It's warm out... perhaps we could go for a swim before dressing and leaving? The ocean looks lovely, despite the erruptions, and if the water is still resonably warm, it we could have a little fun before things get serious."

But... let him hold his lover for a few seconds longer.

Silinde basked in the feeling of his lover's embrace. These were the moments that meant so much to him. Tender, loving, and peaceful. He knew his lover was just as reluctant to go as he was, and he did not want to burden Aearlin with all the responsibility. He would do his best not to dwell on what they could not do now, but instead focus on all they would do in the future. And what better time to start than now. He untangled himself from his blond lover, and made his way to the tent exit, turning around to wink at his beloved before screaming, "I'll race you to the ocean!"

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Oh, no fair!!! Aearlin gave a faint yelp at the shout given in his direction before throwing the thin blanket they had shared off himself and bolting after his lover. Of course his lover reached the ocean before him, and - as nothing appeared out of place in the water or the beach itself - he tackled his lover as soon as he reached the other elf, toppling them both into rather warm, waist-high water about five yards out into the water. It was something he thought he might learn to love about this climate - though it was obviously cooler than it used to be, evidenced by the dying palms around them - the water was much warmer than what he was used to in Arda, and the sand slope seemed very shallow, the shelf extending far out into the water rather than dropping steeply as was normal further north. Here, it just seemed so shallow! But blissfully so.

SPLOOSH! He let go of his lover once he was sure they were both going down, and laughed merrily as he surfaced, warm and salty water spraying nearly everywhere. Wonderful.

It could have been paradise, were it not for their task.

Silinde ran straight to the ocean, glancing back to see his blond lover sprinting after. Yes, this was fun, and he had won! He turned around to gloat and tease his lover, only to be tackled down unexpectedly into the warm water. Once over the shock, he rose up, the water up to his waist, and gathered his hair out of his face. The grin on his face was on of pure amusement. "You're the most sneakiest elf in Arda." And embraced his lover for the carefree joy he felt. "You better watch your back now melleth. I shall have to return the favor."

Aearlin chuckled, immediately tugging his lover close to him once more, catching those lips with a soft kiss. "Return the favor any time, love. I enjoy rolling around with you..." A little wink was given then, before he stole another press of lips to his sweet one's. Afterward, he pulled away and started walking slowly toward deeper water, till the liquid washed across his chest.

"If we survive this, love, I think we shall spend a few years here, enjoying this place. The water is warm.. the air is temperate... I think this would be the perfect place to spend a well-earned rest... don't you?"

Silinde heard his precious lover speak of a well-earned rest, and could not agree more. "We shall survive melleth nin. Do not worry." He wanted to assure his lover that all would end well, for if they lost faith and hope now, they would surely be doomed.

"Once we've accomplished what we've been sent for, I agree that this land would be a perfect spot for our well-earned rest. Hopefully it can be just you and me. I do not want to share you with anyone else, and I have so many wondrous things planned." Oh yes, he was going to bask in his lover's embrace, make love to him, kiss him, celebrate their love, life and victory.:glomp

Aearlin smiled. How could he not? His lover was so utterly sweet to him, he couldn't resist the upturn of lips. He turned, and opened his arms to Silinde, waiting for his warm, snuggly body to join Aearlin.

"You... are hopelessly optomistic, but I think I've needed that optomism in my life. Without you, I think I'd be a very dull elf, indeed." Another soft kiss. A little squishy-hug. And he remained there, standing in the lukewarm water, holding his lover close to him. The moment was perfect... and for the time being, he would enjoy it.

Silinde quickly entered the offered embrace. He would take any and every opportunity to get closer to his lover. Basking in the warm hug, he smiled, hearing his blonde lover speak of being dull. "Well I don't think you are dull at all melleth nin. From the moment I met you in Rivendell so many centuries ago with pink strands among your golden locks, to now, waist high in water, you are still a mystery to me. Why you chose to be with me, I shall never know, but I am most grateful."

Tears began shimmering in Silinde's blue eyes, and he quickly wiped them, not wanting his lover to see. Instead, he decided to add to the list of things he was good at. "Oh, and besides being hopelessly optimistic, I am also hopelessly romantic." A mischievous wink and grin, and a passionate kiss to his lover's sweet lips. "Once we are alone for good, I intend on showing you just how hopeless I really am."

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Laughter bubbled in his throat to think back at those times. "You were the greatest thing that had ever happened to me then. I was so frustrated with myself.. with not being able to do anything on my own - even shuffle across Elrond's halls! And there you were, offering to aid me as if I had been your companion for centuries!" He smiled then, kissing his love's nose gently.. playfully. "I remember how careful you were with me... how you made me laugh when I thought it might have been impossible then. And how quickly we became friends!"

Another warm kiss was given, this time upon his beloved's lips. "You saved me from more than unwanted bedrest then, love-of-mine. You saved me from being alone for the rest of my existance... From shying away from others for all eternity. And you gave me a love I think the Valar themselves might be jealous of." He smiled then, gently cupping his love's chin, a thumb brushing lightly over Silinde's cheek. "Only a fool would turn your love away." He paused here a moment, then the smile turned into a full grin, laughter bubbling into his throat once more.

"And I look forward to you showing me as much, love. If it is anything like the past few millenia with you, I have a feeling we both will enjoy it greatly..."

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Once more Silinde found his blue eyes filled with tears. His beloved Aearlin had touched him deeply, and he wondered how it was possible that he had lived so many centuries without him. "You do me great honor by accepting and returning my love." And with that declaration, a desperate kiss to Aearlin's rosy lips.

Silinde released his lover's lips for the need to breathe was dire. He rested his forehead against that of his lover, taking the time to fill his lungs with air before staring into Aearlin's aqua eyes and running his slender fingers through his wet hair. "I promise that you will enjoy every moment we spend together melleth nin. I love you more than life itself, and if loving you brings that melodious sound from your lips, and that twinkle in your eye, then I shall continue to love you forever."

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Such kisses were the stuff that could curl your toes and make your heart skip multiple beats, simply for the passion and sweetness of it all. He melted, pulling his lover that much closer as that kiss lingered till neither really could breathe all that well. And then? More snuggling. He didn't care where they were, what they needed to do. This was too perfect a moment to ruin by such things.

Afterward, after a nice, deep breath, Silinde spoke once more. His heart thudded within him, and his stomach flipped at the words given. There was nothing he could say to it all! Nothing that was as moving. But actions often spoke where words could not, and so he drew his beloved into another kiss, slow and sensual, giving each pleanty of opportunities to capture little breaths of air.... just so that kiss could last longer.

For many long minutes he held them there, fingers trailing through Silinde's hair... along his back.. up to trace his cheek... everywhere he could reach easily, they moved. And all the while, that kiss continued, kept soft and utterly gentle, like warm raindrops.

When he finally did pull away... "I love you... so very much..."

(OOC - sorry it took so long. I fell asleep minutes after you left..)

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Oh what a kiss!!! Those magical lips, so soft and sweet. Allowing him breaths of air so he could continue to be one with them was more than Silinde could ever ask for. Every touch from Aearlin was as though he had been given life; such fire was awoken. And despite the bliss he was in, and the enjoyment he was clearly in, his conscious nagged him for their true reason for being there.

"We are supposed to be warriors melleth nin, and here we are gushing over one another like lovesick fools." Which of course Silinde didn't mind, it was just that he was eager to be done with their appointed task, so that he may enjoy his time with his beloved Aearlin without any interruptions. "How about we get this over with so that I may treat you to that well-earned, romantic rest that you so deserve." For he had taken such care of Silinde in their years together, it was only natural that Sil wanted to do the same for his lover. So with a quick kiss, and a soft slap to Aearlin's backside, Sil all but dragged him out of the water. "Let's get you dressed before I change my mind and ravish you here on the sand."

(ooc - don't worry...I went home and slept too:o )

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
A winged shadow arched across the sky, malevolent and out of place with the tenderness that had just occured here--- on the horizon the shadow grew in nearness--and then the bone chilling scream of the Naz-Gul rang through the air like a forgotten nightmare----

Seeking---seeking him--- the Black Hand-- the Lord of the Before-Time--ever they would seek him-- and they would find ----

The Wraith held a position high above the two lovers, only a menacing shadow still---

but in a moment he would descend-- for often information could be had from the unlikeliest of prey---

Lessons learned well countless years ago with Gollum.

Lessons recalled now.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Aearlin and Silinde had already started back to the tent when Aearlin caught the first glimpse of the shadow above. A wraith? But how? It was far too soon! Or was it? After all, the blasts from the volcanoes had been days ago. And Melkor... he would have escaped then.

He gave his lover a shove in the back, urging him ahead. "Run!!! Go fast, Silinde!" he gasped as they raced to the tent. Breeches were thrown on very swiftly - for as high as the wriath was, they had the time. His sword he grasped, then slid it into the scabbard at his hip, while his bow and quiver were taken and slung on, not even bothering to put his shirt upon his back.

One arrow was knocked quickly to the bowstring, even as he tumbled out of the tent, and aimed directly at the descending mark. Yes, it was a wraith, and upon one of those horrible flying terrors! The arrow was loosed, aimed not for the wraith, but for the beast it rode's heart.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Light-hearted and joyful was Silinde's mood. He was having a wonderful time with his lover, and it seemed that all would be well. Slowly the two blonde ellyn made their way back to the tent, when Silinde felt Aearlin tense, and suddenly he was shoved and told to run. Only after he began to run did he notice the shadow of the Naz-gul. Ai Elbereth! Already?!

Silinde made his way into the tent, threw on his breeches, fastened his sword to his waist, and grabbed his bow and quiver in almost one fluid motion. Years of practice from previous wars had prepared him for anything. Even the constant threat of spiders in his home Mirkwood had trained him well for surprises.

He rushed to his beloved side, the warrior in him taking over. Like Aearlin, Silinde notched an arrow, aiming for the foul beast bearing the wraith. Once shot, another arrow was notched, waiting for the perfect shot to bring the flying beast down.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Had he the time or the luxury to be terrified, he would have been. A wraith! He knew that though they could not be killed easily, they could at least be driven away.... and the Son of Fingolfin was not an easy mark to take down. Arrows were loosed into the fell beast's skin, hoping for one - his or Silinde's, it did not matter - to hit the vital mark of throat or heart.

It was here that he was thankful his lover was a warrior - and a practiced one, at that! A Mirkwood archer - tied only with the Wardens of Lothlorien for their skill and bravery! He cast his lover an almost feral grin for but a moment, glad to be fighting by his side as arrows continued to rain upward from their bows.

Would they drive off the creature before it could land? Or would they have to draw swords against a Morgul blade? Either way, his father and brothers had stood up against worse many times before finally meeting their match. Aearlin was certain they'd make it through this.

"Silinde... should all else fail, get yourself to the biodome and fight on. Whatever happens, when this war is over, we *will* be together!" he assured the other through gritted teeth as another arrow was shot.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
The fellbeast screamed a cry nearly as shattering as its Master's-- and finally an arrow found a mark that slowed it in its descent---

and the Nazgul atop it now screeched his angry response, and pulled back on the spiked reins viciously--- and then he landed the beast fully-- and, leaving the wounded creature, he looked to the two who had dared attack the mount of the Ulairi.

"You...................dare...to do...this?" he hissed, his voice unnatural and frozen.

He drew the Morgul sword, and advanced slowly, black robed and relentless.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Silinde was appalled. How could his beloved Aearlin expect him to leave. Melkor himself would have to pull him away. “I will not leave you here to fight alone. If we fail, we fail together.” It was a promise that Silinde would hold true to. Without Aearlin he would surely die, so it mattered not if he made it to the biodome. So side by side with his lover, he let loose numerous arrows, hoping one would strike a chord with the beast, and drive it from their sight.

Finally the fellbeast screamed, filling Silinde with relief that the worst was over. Surely the Nazgul would take its creature away from harm. But the relief was short lived, and Silinde quickly glanced at Aearlin for instruction. They were unfortunate to see the Nazgul bring the fellbeast down, leaving it to approach them.

Silinde could feel every inch of his skin turn cold, so frightened he was. He had heard of the Nazgul, and only one had ever been killed, by Eowyn of Rohan. How would they manage now? His heart was racing, his blood coursing quickly through his veins. He took a deep breath, taking what may be his last look at his true love, and whispered, “Whatever may happen today, know that I love you and will find you wherever you are, that I promise.” Then the Mirkwood warrior drew out his sword, ready to fight against the undead.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Aearlin nodded solomnly as his lover spoke, raising his sword now, and casting his bow aside. "If Aragorn was able to drive them back, so will we!" he assured the other before rushing in to match blades with the Morgul wraith. :yar

The sound of metal upon metal rang through the air, and Aearlin pushed onward, his sword darting in and out, trying to cut the creature as he moved, without himself being cut as well. All the while, his mind was on Silinde, and keeping him from harm as well. Determined to hurt this creature... to wound him. Or to kill him.

And how dare this being threaten the peacefulness of their world? The Shadows had no place there!
