A Simple Little Message.... (and compettition info)
Well now that things seem to be back up and running (after my much despised and unfortunate absense), everyone seems to have disapeared!
Or are people here to scared to post new topics? Add others to their MSN lists? Venture into the Chat room? Write Fiction? Share artwork? Discuss movies? Books? Haul friends in and scheme crazy plans for board improvement and modernization?

Im afraid I'll have to change that. Starting with a competition.
We're looking for a new banner for the main page. And because both Ellen and I are rather busy at the moment, It was thought that perhaps some talented people out there were keen to give it ago.
There will be awards and new tittles made for the 1st Prize winner (even some other certain liberties), Runner Up will also recieve certain liberties.
So? Who will take up this challenge? Who will turn it away?
More information will be given as the competittion begins to flow.
So I suggest you get busy!
BANNER REQUIREMENTS:
- 565x192 pixels in length is ideal, anything slightly smaller is ok, just not any larger.
- Banner must include of course, the community name: 'Maneater United'.
- Names and signature's may be included in the the banner, but discreetly. All credit will be duely given to the artist through perminant announcement.
Post any enquiries here, a new forum will be started for banner entries and stickied to the top of this forum.
But most of all, have fun. Be creative and confident.

A newbie here who wants to try her hand on the banner competition, but first a question. Can the banner be any color scheme or should it fit the current skin?

A very warm welcome to you Keala. Glad to have you in our little place in cyberspace.
As to your question. Any colorscheme girl. Skins can be changed (not easily, lol, but it can be done), so if the banner you make is soo drop dead gorgeous that we fall for it hook line and sinker we might just re-arrange the whole thing around it. Just go for whatever your muse tells you and have fun.
