"ana"called Christina from her position in the kithcen.She lifted the tea to her mouth.Taking a sip she put the mug back down.Christopher Lane snuck up behind his wife and planted a kiss on the top of her head.

Arianna nodded smiling.Christina disapeared down the stairs . Later that day Christina walked into the den where Arianna was playing with her model horses.
"You know I was thinking isn't it time you learned how to ride?"
A smile spread along Arianna's face as she nodded excitedly.
"Let's go" she cried jumping up
Christina took her hand and the both walked outside,with Arianna trying to pull her ahead. Once they reached the stable Christina sat Arianna down on a bale of hay and groomed and tacked up Daisy.An elderly palomino pony who was very sweet.
She led out caisy and smiled."Are you ready?" she asked the litlle girl.Who Jumped up happily
"Ok One....Two ...three" and she boosted her up

Arianna nodded and put her dark brown hair in a ponytail she grinned at the horse and rider beside her "Ready?" she asked

"Ok go" shouted the trainer and both girls spurred their horses int a gallop

"Thanks" Arianna called back and turned back to the horse she waited then about 7 seconds later gave her the reins and in the final stretchshe gave it all finishing a couple seconds before Catrina
"good job" she told the horse patting her sweaty neck
"WHAT WAS THAt" screamed the trainer
"YOU WERENT SUPPOSED TO RACE HER JUST TAKE HER AROUND!!!!"

The trainers face grew red and she laughed as she began to cool her out

Arianna was in the stall with her horse a black thoughbred with one white sock.
"How are you baby?"she murmered to the horse
Midnight chaos arched his graceful neck and let oyut a shrill whinny .
" I know ,you want to run ,but honey you have to rest your foot in a few days the vet said he'd come back and check it ok .Let this be a lesson no more letting pther hoprses out of their stall's."
Chaos had done just that one morning and when they were all running free a horse bumped into him and he stumbled and fell over a large rock.
Chaos snorted and bumped her with his nose.Arianna laughed
"patience boy patience" she told him and walked over one stall to her other horse a pretty thoughbred mare named Satin dances."how are you D ?" she aske dhe horse slowly letting herslef into the stall and giving her a hug.

Satin seemed to almost smile at Arianna as she let out a soft nicker .Arianna slipped on her halter and put her on the cross ties. She poked her head out of the stall and grabbed the currycomb which was lying there.After she was finished grooming and tacking her, she led the bay mare outside to mount.
"come on lets go work a bit on the track k girl? we have a race coming up in 'bout a week "Arianna quickly got on she turned Satin toward the track.
Christina stood mounted on a horse several yards away talking angrily to one of the trainers.
"No I do not think so and further more..." Christina began a frown forming at the corner of her lips " I just don't have time for this Dennis . We will talk later" she said curtly and walked away
" Hi M..."Arianna began
Christina didn't even notice her daughter instead she called out delightedly "Oh my what a beautiful colt we have he'll be a winner for sure." she dismounted and walked over to the breeder beginning to discuss the colts health.
She frowned " Come on Satin" Arianna muttered
Arianna slammed her locker shut. "Anyways Satin is doing really good i can't wait for the race if she brings back a blue mom will be so happy. I mean she is really young and this is only a maiden race but I think she'll do good...well i hope she will"
"she will " Mauve reassured her Heather and Lindsay nodded in agreement.
Heather smiled " she'll do great you've been working really hard with her I just wish Mocha would get into the racing thing he's fast but he doesn't have any heart in it.though he loves jumping .remember that time when we were taking a trail ride and there was that fallen log?well then before i could do anything he took off at a gallop and cleared it .of course i fell off but it wasn't his fault.Anyways I am glad my parents are letting me help with the year-lings" She said tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear.
Arianna laughed.She and Heather had been best friends since as long as she could remember.Lindsay spoke up " Mocha is funny like that i bet if you trained him to be a jumper he would want to race.

"Are we going to go on a trail ride this afternoon?" asked Mauve
"sure" Arianna said " You could ride Daffodill again Mauve and Linsay you could ride...."
" It's ok I can't make it I have dance"Lindsay said

"Yep but I can't ride Mocha my parents get annoyed if I trailer him over that short of a distance but it's too dangerous to ride on the road and...."

Mauve, Heather ,and Arianna waved bye to Lindsay who had opened the door to her mother's volvo and got inside.
They got on the bus and Mauve started to talk excitedly.
" I can't wait to ride Daf again" she said reffering to daffodil a pretty palomino horse that was given to them when Daffodil's racing career had ended. The friends who gave them daffodil knew she would be a good horse to have around.
Mauve grinned " Thanks for inviting me I wish I could own a horse like you guys" She said touching one of her brown curls.

"What" Mauve practically shreiked
"Calm down well I happened to be talking to your mom and"

Arianna looked over ButterStone Feilds better known as Chris and chris stables though anna preffered Butterstone Feilds.Heather smiled at her "come on Ri lets go"
"I'm soming" she replied and the three girls headed down to the stables "Daf!" Mauve practically cried out and ran to her stalll enclosing her in a hug.Heather laughed and went to tack up Twist and shout and energetic thoughoughbred who had won some minor races.Arianna headed towards Tulip's stall ( show name = Two lips are better than none) another thoughoubred who had also won some minor races Christina and chris had their eyes on those two to go to the derby.
"she has already been worked today twist too" called a groom Arianna frowned
"Why dontcha ride Star she hasnt been out for a ride in a while and you know how retired racehorses can be."
"Ok" anna replied "what about heather?"
"Heather is riding Diamond"Heather announced leading the pretty gray mare.
Arianna laughed and went to tack up Star ,a boarder's horse the owners were away on vacation.
Once Arianna finished tacking her up she led star outside and mounted her.Heather and Mauve were waiting impatiently

The three girls set off into thewoods chatteriing excitedly. It wasn't till about a year later though until the reaal excitement began
{fast forward to a year later}
" WHAT?" Christina exclaimed pacing back in forth
" If this is some sort of sick joke I WILL hurt you" she threatned glaring
" I assure you Ma'am it isn't this isn't the stuff I like to kidd about" The principal said grimly
Christina plopped backwards on her bed "Her Life was perfect. It doesn't make any sense. Good grades,great horse,excellent friends,caring parents." She shook her head "have they foundthe body" she asked in a smaller voice
" no I'm sorry but its rumored she drowned we found her books by the river" The policeman added " i think we should leave now" he suggested and the rest of them left following the police officer.
Christina lied down a whirlwind of emotions circling her.
"Christina" A stern voice said
"CHris!" she exclaimed "oh chris did you hear?" she asked bursting into sobs and falling into his arms.That is until she saw the tall blonde woman behind him.Chris pushed her away .
"But what?" She said confused
"Its over christina" he said
" But Chris we had a history" she said helplessly" baby you really dont want to do this I mean Anna is gone and.."
