(well everyone but carole lisa and veronica did :L) )
"Why arent you taking lessons?" he asked somewat angry
" if you were keila i could ask you to be part of the pine hollow eventing team whoich will be competeing at Treebear woods "
Re: so who wants to be who
Keila was instantly on her defence at Max's angry tone. "I didn't know you had a problem with people working their horses alone," she said hotly.
But seeing Max's face, she quickly changed her tone. "And can't I enter Events by myself?" she continued. She stared at Max, Pride snorting. The stallion reached out his nose to Max's face and then shook it and back up.
"Stop," Keila murmured to him. She looked at Max. "Also...at my old barn, we could have lessons or we could work by ourseleves. I'm sorry if I disobeyed the rulkes here; if I did."

Re: so who wants to be who
As Carole lead Starlight out she noticed someone she had not seen before walking towards her. She watched her in curiousity at her muscular chestnut which Carole guessed had to be a Quater Horse or maybe a TB he was so powerful looking.
She wondered where the girl was from, when she had arrived and who she was. Carole decided there was only one way to find out, to ask her
Re: so who wants to be who
Carole's mouth dropped open. "Rrreally??" she sputtered. Carole had thought she was in trouble but represting Pine Hollow! On the 3 day event team. WHAT A WONDERFUL IDEA! "That sounds really fun and great Max!" Carole managed. "I mean i thought I was in trouble for having a little spill. But I definetly want to do it!" she grinned and forgot about the new girl at the barn
Carole turned to Veronica. She frowned and was about to protest about her being so rude to Lisa. She hesitated. Usually she'd NEVER do anyting for Veronica but Red had been having a hard time and Carole wanted to see the new horse in closer detail. She nodded. "Sure," she muttered, knowing Stevie and Lisa would probably get very angry at her desicion and she'd regret it.
Carole smiled at Max. "Well I'll talk to you later about the 3-day event and I'll be sure to let Stevie and Lisa know. Have a nice chit chatty," She turned giving Starlight a scratch on the neck and quickly lead him back.
After untacking and givng him his apple she went to go get patient Sparkles from Veronica.
Re: so who wants to be who
Carole lead the feisty but well behaved mare((or gelding- srry melly )) back to the barn. Red rushed by her in a hurry nearly knocking her over, he quickly apoligized and flashed her a smile of thanks then ran out of sight.
"Wonder whats up with him?" Carole thought aloud and lead Sparkles to his large boarder box stall.
Re: so who wants to be who
Keila stood dumbfounded in the middle of the ring, angry, but yet embarrassed and upset. She really had meant no harm. What was so bad?
"God!" Keila said under her breath as she sent Pride off at the trot and to the canter again. "What's his problem?"
Just then, one of the barn cats came running out under the rail. It stopped and hissed at Pride like it was bigger and bader than him. The stallion stopped dead and his nose quirvered once more. Then, he let out a masive whinny, and reared. About a minute later, Pride landed and charged down the rest of the arena.
Pride, stop! Keila thought in her mind. Please...stop!
But, Pride wasn't about to stop, not even with the pressure that Keila was applying on the reins. He finally reached the end of the arena. But, he was in no intention to turn and gallop the ring. He wanted to jump the rail. And he did. But Keila had been ready for it.
Finally, she took hold of one rein and did a laderal stop. Pride instantly bent around and then fell. Keila quickly moved out of the way. When she got up, so did Pride. The stallion just stood there. Keila grabbed the reins and dusted both herself and Pride off.
"You okay?" she asked the Quarter Horse. Pride blew out nosily from his nostrils and lowered his head. Keila patted his neck and hopped back on him.
Instead of going around the the opening, though, she jumped the rail again and they continued on their workout. Pride acted like an old gelding.

Keila patted Pride's neck and sent him to a canter. There were jumps set up in the middle of the ring that Keila had been eyeing. Finally, she pointed Pride towards the jump. The stallion's ears pricked, but then settled back on Keila.
Keila smiled and squeezed when they reached the jump. Pride lifted off the ground and gave a snort as he landed. After that jump, Keila pulled him and walked him out until his was cool. She dismounted and walked into the barn.
There were two girls standing in the aisle. She smiled at them and slipped by to Pride's stall.

Re: so who wants to be who
Keila let Pride into his stall. She followed him in and took off his bridle and his saddle. She then quickly ran a brush over his body and then picked out his feet. She fed the stallion some Polo mint treats and then walked down to the group of girl.
"Hi," she said, tucking a piece of her red/brown hair behind her ear. "Do you know where Max is?"

Re: so who wants to be who
Carole quickly came by. "Hi," she said, in a friendly voice. "My name is Carole Hanson. I own Starlight, I love your horse by the way," she reached out to give the big gelding a scratch.
"Hmmm..."Carole said in thought, "Im not sure where he is, Max is always here there and everyone," she chuckled. "Yeah," she turned towards Lisa. "He's probably in the tack room or something,"
Carole shuffed her feet at the silence and then startd a new topic. "So when did you get to Pine Hollow? I thought I saw you but I wasnt sure"

Re: so who wants to be who
Keila smiled at the the girls. "I'm Keila and that's my buddy Pride." She pointed towards the stallion who's head was over the stall door. "Nice to meet you all." She smiled.
"I actually got to Pine Hollow about two days ago, but I wasn't around here much," she explained. "Today was the first day that I actually went riding. Before I was just walking Pride around to get him used to everything."
She turned to Pride and rubbed his star/blaze combination. "And thank you for telling me where Max is." SHe offered them a smile once more.
