Looking at Jeanie she hugged her tightly. "Sorry Jeanie i'm sorry but i dont want to get hurt agian i want to never be hurt" She whispered. When the bell rang she said goodbye and walked to her locker until she remembered Jeanie's locker was right next to her.

Jeanie shrugged it off. "It's alright," she replied as she kicked her locker and then yelled at it for not opening. She tried the combo again and her then her locker opened.
She grabbed her books, placed them in the backpack and slammed her locker, casuing the lock to snap shut.
"I'm getting off at Whitebrook afterschool," she quickly told Jamie, grinning, and then skipped down the hall to her English class.

At Lunch that day Jaime sat with her regular table wich consisted of around twenty people. Jocks, Preps, and her friends. When she sat down she was careful to save a spot for Jeanie and Kasie.

Jeanie sighed and frowned as she made her way over to the table. She hated sitting with the preps, but she didn't let it get in her way. She down next to Jamie, without giving the preps or jocks a second glance.
"Hey," she said. "I think I might get out of school. How awesome is that? And with me moving back to Whitebrook, it's gonna totally rock ...." She grinned.

Jeanie sat back in her chair and pulled out her CD player, after putting in her Train CD. She kept the volume slightly low, but also slightly loud. She watched everyone bustle around the cafeiteria.

Tapping Jeanie she smiled and asked agian. Then suddenly her name was called and she saw the senior Bobby Baker heading her way and she smiled at her friends. Not only was he a horse fanatic but he was super hot!

Laughin at Jeanie she smoothed her skirt and put on some lip gloss then smoothed her hair. When he came over all the guys got rowdy and started acting like idiots. Kasie moved over to make some room for him and she thanked her by winking.
"Hi Jaime looking good" Bobby said.
"Right back at you Bobby" She smiled not feeling a bit unsure.
"Hey listen tomorrow night do you want to come to a party at my house" Bobby asked. Jaime didn't answer all she noticed was his gorgeous brown hair looked perfect. She about to answer when Jake butted in and grabbed her hand then took her to a private place.
"What" She said casually then looked at Bobby and shrugged at his bewilderd face.

Jeanie glanced at her and shrugged. "Everything," she replied. She sighed and looked down at her hands. "It's just that my mom is dating someone and I don't like him. And so that's why i'm moving back with my dad so soon. And, I miss him and my horse and the filly." She looked up at Jamie. "Actually, my mom is engaged, and so she's filing for a divorce."

Her smiled dropped from her face and she glared. "Dude i thought your mom was like inlove with your dad , i'm so sorry" She whispered sitting down and ignoring all the other people.

Jeanie shook her head. "No," she said. "My parents separated 7 years ago, remember?" She sighed and shrugged it off. "It's okay, though. I'll just never see my mom or her fiance. Not like it's gonna hurt me." She tucked a piece of her straight auburn hair behind her ear.

Jeanie nodded. "Yes, but I hafta go see my dad first!" she called as she ran down the drive. "Haven't seen him in three weeks!"
She quickly ran to the cottage to find her father sitting at the kitchen table, mussing over something. She dropped her backpack by the door and ran over to him.
"Dad!" she schreeched. Kevin jumped up and Jeanie ran into his arms. "I missed you, Dad!"
Kevin laughed. "I didn't know you were coming," he said. "Your mother let you?"
Jeanie pulled back and shook her head. "No, I decided on my own!" She grinned. "Aren't you happy?"
Kevin nodded. "Very," he replied. "But you should call your mother."
"That's your job; I gotta go ride Rebel!" With that, she kissed her father on the cheek and ran down to the bumping, almost running into the new stable hand, Kyle.
