Biting her lip she looked down the hallway from which she had come then turned around to face Jared he was now standing up looking at her with his gorgeous green eyes. Reaching up she brushed away a lock of her and looked at him, he would always be there for her through thick and thin she just knew it.
When she heard Leah's voice she turned around and smiled "It's ok, but i want you to know that even though i aint your mom even though i act like it sometimes i just want whats best for you" She said.

Drake leaned against the glass and balled his hand into a fist. He closed his eyes and thought for a moment. Then, he heard the fateful beeping sound of death. His eyes snapped open and he saw doctors and nurses rushing into Ralaine's room, checking for a pulse. They shook their heads sadly.
Drake looked up at the cieling and slammed his hand against the wall, closing his eyes. Please God, bring her back! he thought. He had never really believed in God, but he figured he might as well pray for someone he loved.
He brought his eyes back down to level with the glass. Just as the doctor was about to turn everything off, the green lines on the machine started to move. Drake sighed. Ray was a fighter, that was for sure.
