Ashleigh sighed and retreated from the stall. She grabbed a bridle and put it on Goddess. She then brought Goddess outside and hopped up on her back. She then walked the mare on.

Ashleigh pushed the mare into a trot and went passed the barns until she met the paddocks. She trotted down one line of fences and then turned on to a tracktor lane. Trotting down the green lane, she looked around, Everything seemed, well...different.
Goddess whickered to her paddockmates, who were grazing with their foals. The foals were going to be weanlings in about 2, 3, or 4 months. Ashleigh starightened the mare out and entered the woods, where she slowed to a trot.

Ashleigh had wandered into the woods some when she decided to let the mare canter. Goddess made a perfect transition into the three-beated gait. Her flapped back to tune with the motion. Ashleigh smiled as they went along the trail.
Ashleigh made the trail go to Whisperwood. She cantered through Sam and Tor's back woods and then slowed the broodmare when she reached the clearing. Goddess was definatly out of shape. She had sweat all over her body.
Patting the mare's neck, they walked down the hill together and over to the ring, where Sam was instructing a beginner's lesson. She heard Tor's voice off in the barn.
