She turned on her heel and headed into the barn. She walked down to Charisma's stall and pulled the filly from it. She tied her in crossties and started to groom her.

Ralaine quickly saddled up the chestnut filly. She bridled her twice as fast and then gave her a treat.
"Ally can be the center of attention and the racing world," Ralaine murmured to Charisma as she led her down the rest of the barn aisle. "That means the pressure's off me...off of us. Off of Catch, too."
Charisma whinnied loudly. Ralaine smiled and they walked out of the barn doors.

Seeing Charisma's silky coat trotting away Ally decided to let Meg be alone with her horse for a while and got up on Sierra and trotted after them.

Ralaine sighed, but kept Charisma trotting. It didn't take long after that to reach the track. That's when she stopped the filly.
"What?" she asked Ally, trying to keep herself calm. She had her mother's temper, but she was trying to change it to her father's.
