My husband says he'd rather sweat his ass off than listen to me bitch for an hour about how cold I am. Of course it took him 8 years to figure this out but he's not as sharp as Steve.

People, people, people. The driver holds your life in his hands. Vagina or no, he should drive not just the car but also the radio and the climate controls.
For the record, the last chick I dated always drove because her car was much nicer than mine. She got to choose all of the ambiance.

Neither the heater nor the AC works, so it's kind of a moot point. The passenger can try to control it, but it won't do any damn good.
