House of Pain Customer Satisfaction Survey Run By Romilly
Hm, I dont know why I cant do a poll anymore, so I'll just need to have you will out this form for Romilly's Swordsmith and Hammersmith operations. Of course, only fill this out if you use a Sword or Hammer/Mac.
1. What is the base type of main's primary weapon (ie Sword or Hammer):

4. If you were considering buying a weapon with 2 attributes, what do you want (select 2) :
I generally consider + dmg, Fear, durability as valueless to guild, correct me if wrong. I personally like Speed and ATR, as I'm a 2-H sword wielder, but your mileage may vary.
This is not a request list for a +200, Mighty Sword of R30 Slaying... we cant run the shop like that, but I would like to make sure that first of all that I am keeping the right weapons around in stock, and roughly what proportion of weapon types I should be producing. If you have a special request, you can post it here (mark title [SPECIAL REQUEST ], but there is no promise I'll even remember it, let alone be able to randomly make one or reserve it for you. Also, if you dont fill out the questionaire, special requests wont even be considered :-)

Basicly my PVP weapon would be a high attackrating or str boost and the best mental dmg proc, a high resist or a great speed boost

First off you are doing a great job Rom!
1 Sword
2 Dual Wield
3 Only Psi-blades
4 1 atr/damage combo prefix and 2,3,4, and 5 in that order
5 Like Pureclint, I would choose a mental damage proc. Not only does no one have resists vs it, I debuff it for 50% :-) (still a lttle grumpy that psi-blades do slash damage not mental damage like in beta)
No big push, I have 2 good psi-blades already, but I know Vorpal is in the market for a couple, and if Wormwood ever logs on again, he will be too (where are you buddy?).

All of the Confesors are going to be looking for basically the same weapon, a single handed Sceptor of medium level, 68-69% with +150 Attack and +Int. Anything else would be icing on the proverbial cake.
Since our Sceptor's attack bonus carries over to our spells I think you'll find almost all of the Confessor's looking for the same type of weapon.

yep main is 43 druid, need same type as confessor
+150 atk royal scepter +10 int
fear is worthless, it goes off way too much! then the mobs bolts away and sometimes comes back 20 mins later in the middle of a big pull lol
awesome suffixes as far as procs...frykka big cold dmg, lava, big fire dmg, vampyre 80-120ish lifetap, of storms big lightning, of fae big magic dmg...of those magic/cold/lifetap are prolly the least resisted
Legendary is probably the best prefix 150 atk, and haste combo. Warlords if 150 atk and dmg, ok for people who have their own haste
+dmg is not useless, it's factored into the equation before modified by stats/skill so a +5 could mean +30-45 after all is done...this is obviously better for people dual wielding fast weapons

Thanks guys, I'll definitely build more sceptres, I've been concentrating on Hammers (I know nothing about bludgeoning people so...).

Can you please explin to us exactly how the forge process works - e.g. can you specifcy ANYTHING at all about the magical abilities or is it totally random?
Like Basal said, the ideal weapon for us *locks is a psiblade (has to be) with a mental proc. Although mental is good for everyone 'cause no one bothers with resisits (even warlocks, who have a powerful mental resist buff available!).
So keeping a small-but-constant stream of psiblades forging would be great.
Yep, I'm currently alternating Psiblades and HolySwords, with Gothic GreatSwords (3, 3, 3) and a few T'lan longswords on the sword smith. I actually cant build sceptres... weird - just maces and hammers and stuff, and basically I'm putting out 3 faith hammers and 3 others every day or more.
Basically in answer to the question before, nope, there is absolutely NO control over whats produced. Basically I load up which types (max of 7 weapons every 4 hours or so) and then come back and look at them. I actually probably do this 2x a day. I act as a filter and put the good ones for sale in the shop and the bad ones get junked over. I figure that if I get 1 or 2 decent weapons a session we're doing well..

Strange you can't build Scepters, but I have noticed that even though they are classified as "hammers" the Sage seem to sell them. Should we be making this request of whomever controls the Sage? We have a ton of Fessors and Healers who all need the same Scepters.

There has been a +150 ATR Faith hammer without any stats on the Hammersmith for a while. I am tempted, but my hammer is only 84% atm. At 45-46 I will have it trained up to 100% and able to use Faith Hammers.
Although I have a +10 Int/Spi Royal Scepter which will be tough to lose.
Hmmmmmm decisions......

I understand you can't make Sceptors, any idea which vendor can and who we should be contacting? There is a whole horde of Fessors looking for good sceptors.

Ok, I've not had too many people complain about lack of variation recently, but let me know what your dream weapon is if you haven't gotten close to it yet (within reason, I've never seen a +150 atr,-20%speed,double proc...).
Rolling some Long Blades for Ninjitsu right now, will start again with T'lans (prolly shorts this time for variation).
