| Howdy folks. The purpose of this discussion board is to serve as an interim home for users of our beloved Catch.com.
The idea of the formating is to try and mimic our favorite website. If you have a link you'd like to share, please do so! For each link, create a new topic in the forum which you think is appropriate (such as Cool (not Deck) or News or whatnot). Give the new topic a snappy title. Provide the actual link url in the body of the first post. If you have comments on the link, reply to the topic. Moderators will move topics (and their links) to the appropriate spot as necessary, will delete duplicate links, etc.
Hopefully, it does not need to be said that you should know how to behave towards your fellow posters. Don't be an excessive jerk, etc. Basically, pretend you were still at our favorite website, and behave pretty much as you always have.
I have replicated the categories I find most common/popular. We can certainly add more should it appear necessary or desirable. This is just a start.
Hopefully, content will remain at the same high (or low, depending on your point of view) standard as it always has been. I certainly do not plan to censor content - post what you like, you liberal pinko communist right wing neoconservative hippy geeky bible thumper you. Note, though, that the Terms of Service forbid us from posting things which are obscene. I'm not certain of the precise definition of that, but let's try and err on the side of caution for the moment. From my reading of the TOS, it seems that obscene things can be linked to, they just can't be posted directly here on ezboard.
