Nope, not yet. If we play a few real games and still lose like we have then maybe I will begin to get worried. Considering we have a new coach, mostly new players, new system, etc., etc....nope, not worried yet. We did start off pretty slow last year too and look how we ended up.
I have been very impressed with the off-ice stuff this year already. Looks like the office folk really have it together unlike last year. And the owners have spent some money on us, unlike last year.
Also very impressed with Blaine and how in control he is of these guys...again, unlike last year. Don't get me wrong. Loved the team from last year, but things seem much better this year. Now if they can pick it up on the ice, it will be even better!
From what I have seen of Brad Smith (goalie), we will be fine in goal. He's a talented kid and darned nice too. You'll like him.
Actually the game in WF is the closest one we have had yet. At least none of them counted in the standings. Our projected starters played last Friday and Saturday. Maybe it was just nerves and hopefully this weekend will be better.
GO BLACKHAWKS!!!!!!
