YES...WE ARE STILL ALIVE!!!
....and doing quite well I might add.
The last few months have been seemingly slow for all of you out there with regards to getting your normal dose of Greenstreet. Despite our most sincere apologies for not getting out to play for all of you, I figured I might shed some light on what exactly we've been up to. We have not been touring for a couple of reasons; this past spring I've endured quite a difficult semester up at Michigan State University, while Chris was busy trying to graduate from the University of Michigan this past April (congrats Christopher). So, because of all that crap, we really could not get out on the road much, aside from a few acoustic shows here and there. As for this beautiful summer we've been sharing (unless you're here in Michigan, where we've officially had the coldest weather in 48 states for the last two weeks), we're holding off on playing shows because, first off, Chris is spending a stint in Florence, Italy for a post-graduation wind-down. Secondly (and even more importantly), the rest of the guys and I have been writing vigorously. We're working on a LOT of new material to be recorded soon over here on the Greenstreet front, and I must add are extremely excited to bring it to your hungry ears very, very soon...that I can promise! Shows are in fact being booked for the fall, and believe me when I say I CANNOT WAIT TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD!!!!!!!!! So with that, I bid a tiny farewell for a short while; get ready to see us again soon...we surely can't wait to see all of you!
