What's Your Nationality? Heritage?
I was wondering what your heritage is? It's fun learning about history.. some of our forefathers were famous and I think that's great!
Well, I guess I'll start with mine.
My father is part Native American Indian, (feather not dot)
and my mother is German/French. She was a Prima Ballerina in Germany. I have lots of pics of her on stage. She was also part of Hitlers Youth. She was forced to be by Hitler. He told all the children that if they didn't do what he said that he would kill their parents. She told me many sad stories about that war.
My dad went to Vietnam 3 times and was there during TET. (I think I spelled that right) He was an MP then. I heard many stories about that too. So, in essance I have alot of war in my background.. but that's just a little about my heritage. I'm not sure about the rest.. I've tried to look things up on Family trees but I come up with zilch. I think alot of it is because my dad was Indian and those are hard to track cause back then you didn't vlunteer that kind of info for fear of being an outcast or worse. So not many records of that was kept.
Well, guess you could call me the Heinz of the group. I have Welsh,British,Irish and just a touch of native american. My 6th great aunt was Betsy Ross and I am a cousin to Arnold Palmer on my mother's side.

My fathers family is Native American (Cherokee), my mothers family is German and Irish.
