Well its a race to get card
XFX will have a new 6800 GT dual DVI this Wed and will ship on or after that day. With any luck Ill have the Card by friday so Terry and I can play at least ONE day together before I give Brandon his computer back on Sat (he wants it back). Out accounts go inactive today but Terry insists that we find funds to keep em alive hehe. So on that note I am prolly going to activate hers and do mine when/if my card comes in.

Meadow you game at times on Sat nite? That works well for me and Terry. Perhaps we can hook up again this coming Sat if everything goes according to plan.

I've only ever used ATI cards. They can, at times, be a bit tricky....but I've never used anything else :)

Everything else in that list looks good...though you may want to bump to 2GB memory (that's what I have ;) )

As for a HD, check the deals on FatWallet.com or SlickDeals.com...You can usually find a good deal on a 300GB drive for around 70 bucks somewhere.

/echo 2GB of memory makes a noticeable difference in the performance and playability of the game.

Also driveguys.com used to be a good place to buy hard-drives, they are refurbished but often cost a fraction of what you would pay elsewhere.
