NPC Information NPC's Name: V’on Firyal Appearance: V’on has the ability to take the shape of any race or breed it so desires to by merely envisioning what it has seen. In its natural form however, it appears humanoid with black skin that moves with all colors, something like the effect of water mixed with motor oil. As it creates a new appearance the eyes of this creature also swim with all of the colors contained in a prism, but when it has taken another form the eyes of that appearance are always black, appearing as if there is no beginning of the iris of the eye nor end of the pupil. These eyes give V’on the ability to see in darkness as well as other conditions many would not see clearly in. Personality: V’on is entirely without human emotion. It cannot feel anguish, nor love, nor hate. The one characteristic of this species that is apparent is their need to find one thing that gives them enjoyment and abuse it entirely. This shapeshifter enjoys the feeling of thievery and taking the proper of others, if by only wanting it. It does not feel envy, but mere want on the most primal of levels. While it does take on the appearance of having emotions, such as crying or smiling, the shape shifter does not actually feel these, but more of mimes them after watching other figures do them. Brief History: V’on is as old as time itself and has seen an empty life full of experiences it cannot feel. Lasting through millions of centuries has allowed V’on to see almost every type of creature on its home world and then some, especially after coming to this world of second chances.
Death doesn’t seem possible for this type of creature, however, if it cannot find darkness when it is in its true form, the intense rays of the sun will kill it instantly. For this reason, V’on comes out only at night and if it feels the desire to change, it finds a place of completely darkness, void of all light. It is by this flaw in its nature that V’on found death itself in a moment of bright sunlight that it could not escape. Betrayed by someone who had discovered its secret by convincing the shape shifter that it was a friend and not a foe, V’on knows not to make that mistake again. It holds its true appearance as a secret all that it meets as a weapon of pure survival. Powers, if any: Ability to shape shift and gain half of the powers of the creature’s form it assumes, though not all. Weapons, if any: V’on can form any weapon it has seen before as long as he understands the makeup of it. If he were to see the outside of a weapon and not know that something rested within it, he would merely make a shell with no working components. Therefore, he usually sticks to swords, daggers, and arm mounted weapons. City Located In: Any, really. Businesses Owned: None.
