Training.... I used to train this one horse, Digger, at jumping, but he's a true Wetsern horse. lol Anyway, I was talking with his owner(yes, I still ride him and train him) and he's getting into barrel racing, and he suggested that I do it. Soooo...I'm going to start re-training Dig-boy at barrel racing. He needs to get his movements together, so I'm going to start by cantering around the ring and eventually making the circles smaller and smaller.
I'm just so happy! lol 'Cause then maybe I could go to the Wrangler Rodeo Finals(currently playing on ESPN 2, 12:30 noon, 12:30 night. I'm in NY, so there will be a time difference) Anyway, then I'm going to trot him in circles, also getting smaller and smaller, and then try them around a barrel and see what way he goes best so then me can try going around the 3 barrels.
lol...like I said, I'm just really happy becuase I love barrel racing and I love Digger and he just seems so invincable! wmahahaha. -cough- I'm sick...sorry! lol So, I just wanted to update you guys.
Oh, and...maybe if I get good at roping...I'll to team-roping! Wish me luck with everything!

Re: ... Thanks. I think it's awesome, too. lol I mean, I love Eventing, but Western events...you just get out there and do your thing and just have a blast. I mean...when I trail ride(Western), I even have fun. And when I round-up the herd...that's especially fun. And the connection between horse and rider is just terrific.
Yeah..I hope I feel better, too. My headache is coming back and my mom is making me go to school. Anyway, BarnRat, hope you feel better, too!!!
