Speaking as a mate of ninas, I can tell yiz that it was back in 2003 and she accepted a last minute phone request for an RTE music appearance and was rushed in by taxi without realising it was for Irelands worst programme.
It wasn't for big sell-out dosh at all. She did it out of obligation with a heavy heart and clenched teeth knowing it was a bad idea. Just one of those crazy avenues that we all sometimes end up in life.
Leave her be dudes. She's been through all this last year once already. She knows it was a knuckle biting goof up.

Hi Nina Here, there has been so much talk about this Lyrics Board bollox. Seriously there are links on a few sites about it...speaking for Nina as that's who I am.,, It wa 2002.I had never even heard of the show before I got there and up until the day before, I thought I was just going on to play a song with my band..then I heard it was a quiz and I was to come solo and I thought, a quiz about lyrics, it can't be that bad...and then I got there.
It was surreal.My microphone was silenced and edited in between the questions.I felt like a sore thumb.I did learn though to never say yes until I have seen a copy of any show I have been asked to do..and the money..well it paid off a few debts.Ok enough already..never ask again $$$$£££££.XNina
