The Land Outside the Biodome
The trip from Valinor was decidedly different from the trip TO Valinor, or from it at any other previous time Aearlin Fingolfinion had ever made it. Before this moment, all trips had been by boat. Beautiful ships, really. But that was when Valinor had been a tangible place upon the map of the world. Now, with it having been shifted through space and leaving a gaping, watery hole in the middle of the Atlantic, the travelling between worlds was as simple as stepping through a small portal. It was one-way till Melkor was dealt with or they all perishished, however. The son of Fingolfin understood that fully.

Armed with a beautifully crafted bow upon his back, a slender sword crafted by his own design resembling a cross between the light blade of the samuri and the straight form of the broadsword at his hip, and a whip serving as a belt, he stepped through the violet haze of the portal he'd chosen, wondering if his lover of so many millenia would join him.

He wore simple clothing - a cross between the patterns of old (cuts that reminded one of nature) and the material of the current era - tighter fits with stretchy material that resisted both fire and water. Leggings and a slightly more loose tunic-like shirt. It felt odd... but it would keep him safe, he hoped.

When his foot touched upon the soil in his newly chosen home, he marked that despite the decrease in temperature and the foul air, it was much warmer than his home. The Caribbean. But the world around him was dying, he could tell. Palms were growing brown. Once beautiful flowers had wilted and withered, dying right and left. But he knew his destination.

He walked westward, toward a faint glow in the sky ahead of him. A 'Biodome,' Manwe had said the mortals called it. He was told to memorize the word, as despite his lack of being able to communicate with the mortals of this world, they would know that word, and at least be able to point him in the right direction. He sighed, checking his pack to make sure he had a good amount of food and water, then set off, walking across the once-tropical land. He had assured Silinde before he left that he'd only walk a few miles before setting camp, and that he'd make it easy for him to find for when his lover came through.

His lover.

A faint smile took his lips as he thought of the playful, sweet elf that had somehow wanted him all those years ago. That had coaxed him out of the horrible place he'd been in after an orc attack.... that had taught him that he didn't need to live as a hermit any longer... that touch wasn't always bad... That sex wasn't something to fear if it was with someone who loved you.

Yes, he hoped Silinde would join him soon, even as he stepped further along his plotted trail.

Eventually, he reached the 5 mile mark. Still far enough away from the biodome, but closer than before. He began to set up camp, collecting dried wood in a dirt pit for a fire, and taking out some of his food for a meal. Soon, he knew. Soon his lover would join him. He dusted off forest-green-hued clothes and set his bow and quiver aside, unstrapping both his whip and sword to set them down as well, then settled in front of his fire, glancing around the barren wasteland that was once a beautiful country. Cuba, he remembered it was called.

Ahead, he could see a town, and a dirt road (pavement was no longer needed) for those travellers that wanted to walk lay to his south by about a mile, leading into the place. Food could be found there, he hoped.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Silinde was finally ready. He had reluctantly let his lover go ahead, while he remained. Now, armed with his Mirkwood bow and sword, he walked through the same portal he had seen Aearlin walk through hours before. He had no idea what awaited him on the other side, and worried for the safety of his love. Aearlin had promised to camp only a few miles off to ease Silinde’s worries, but in all honesty...nothing short of seeing the golden ellon would rest his fears.

He gazed at what would be his new home. It was nothing like their sweet Valinor. Everything was dying here. He could smell death. The plants were limp, their once vibrant colors fading; the trees that stood tall and proud, where now barren and dried. He shuddered at the sight, and trudged westward toward the Biodome. He was well aware of what it was. He, as well as all elves that came across, were to remember that word. It was a haven to all in this world, and he couldn’t wait to get him and Aearlin there as soon as possible.

Oh Aearlin, what have we gotten ourselves into now melleth nin. His lover was always ready to wander. It was one of his endearing traits, and the one that made Silinde fall in love with him. This adventure would only be food to his lover's soul, and he was glad that he would at least be able to share this with him. After confessing his love for Aearlin in Rivendell so many millennia ago, Silinde had not left Aearlin’s side and he was not about to do it now.

He continued walking, seeing a light. He desperately hoped it was Aearlin. Silinde, with the grace of the elves, cautiously edged closer to the camp, only to be relieved. He let out a sigh, and approached his lover. His blue eyes shimmered with the firelight, and he greeted his lover with a chaste kiss. "Melleth nin, I am so glad to see you."

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Fingolfin's son welcomed Silinde to the camp with open arms and a bright smile. Oh, it felt wonderful to be reunited with him, even after only a few hours. The kiss was responded to rather eagerly, and once Silinde had pulled away, he gestured to his pile of weapons he'd set aside.

"It's good to see you've made it, love," he admitted, glancing over his shoulder to the faint glow of the biodome in the distance, and to the town ahead of them. "There aren't any enemies around yet. I think Melkor will take some time to muster up his forces before we're plauged by them. For now, we should enjoy the peace.... though I wish there was more life in this place."

He'd become much more talkative as the years went on, growing accustomed to seeing Silinde by his side more often than not. And he'd put faith in the other... trusted him with his opinions, his theories... even his fear of too many near him. Now, centuries and millenia later, he could hardly believe he'd lived thousands of years without the blond by his side.

Even now, as they sat before the fire he'd built, he could feel that comfortable haze wash over him, and he leaned slightly toward his lover, resting his head almost playfully against Silinde's shoulder. "We'll prepare as best we can to fight off whatever Melkor brings. But until he does... forgive me for indulging in these moments of peace," he murmured, then shifted to press another kiss upon Silinde's lips, cautiously.... carefully pulling the other a little closer. He feared they would not have many once things began picking up.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Silinde indulged himself with the feel of his lover. His smile was the light to his soul, and what a smile it was. It seemed to pale in comparison to the fire, and offered him much more warmth. He gently pulled away from Aearlin, and went to relieve himself of his weapons, placing them down carefully next to Aearlin's. He then glanced around to see if anything else needed tending before he relaxed, but found none. It seemed his thoughtful lover had taken care of everything at the moment.

"That is a relief. In the time it takes Melkor to assemble, we will be in the biodome. Peace will not last long for us, so we should treasure the time while we can." Always the strategist, Silinde was taking in all the facts he could gather and formulate a plan so they were prepared for the worse. He would not let anything harm his love. This was a dangerous task for all, and he would take it serious. He knew this peace was the calm before the storm. Melkor would come, and with him a great force to be dealt with. He looked to the handsome blond next to him, and shuddered at the thought of losing him to this great battle.

He scooted closer to Aearlin, letting him rest his head against his shoulder as he had so many times before. "Since you left nothing for me to do, I will have to indulge you." He ran his slender fingers through his golden blond hair, and chuckled at his love’s playful manner. He was pulled closer to him, could feel the heat of his breath on his neck, teasing him. "If you start melletn nin, I am not responsible for my actions." He grinned at the ellon, blue eyes twinkling with lust and love.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Aearlin laughed softly at the comment, then after a quick nip upon the delicate point of his love's ear, he drew away, glancing around the place warily. "Perhaps we should set up a tent? This air is foul, and I'd rather not breathe it all night long, if it could be helped. It stings the back of my throat if I breathe in too much, as it is." A sulking frown.

"But afterward... I'm sure that I will be happy to take reponsibility for those actions you mentioned.... And my own..." He glanced to their packs, then dug into his own, vaguely remembering packing a tent. "Now... where -is- that thing...?"

Fingers curled around fabric he knew definately was not clothing, and he pulled. There! The waterproof cloth was very thin - how it could stand a harsh wind, he wasn't certain, but... he was assured it would keep them both dry and safe from the foul particles in the air and any unwanted storm that had a tendency of cropping up in such ash-strewn clouds overhead.

"Care to lend a hand?" he asked, his entire demeanor light and cheerful. He had all intentions of having *fun* in that tent.... with a certain elf only a few feet from him. "There should be thin poles that will keep the tent up... it should make a peak at the top, and are to be anchored by long pegs." Such new things! Tents in the old Middle Earth were heavy things, held up by solid wooden logs. The things they were given to survive here seemed so .... flimsy! Yet he admitted after testing the strength of the poles that they were flexible, but very hard to break - he knew he couldn't do it. And so he took some of the poles - once they were found, and crawled into the flap in the fabric of their tent (for it was sealed all around like a bubble, save for the flap) and began hooking the slim reedlike stems together... till... POP!!!! The tent suddenly snapped up as it should be, into it's proper upside-down-V shape.

Out of the flap stuck Aearlin's head, and he laughed softly. "Now... we just have to peg the corners down...."

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
The feeling of having his ear tip nipped sent ripples of desire through Silinde's slender frame. Aearlin would pay for teasing him when he had ideas of pitching a tent. "You have the most amazing timing melleth, come let's set up this tent of yours." He reluctantly released his lover, and stood up ready to assist.

He stood, watching Aearlin fumble in his pack for the tent. Nothing they brought, save their weapons was normal to Silinde. Even the clothes they were of new material that Silinde was hesitant to trust. But he had no choice in the matter. At least his lover was enjoying the new items. "I am so very glad that you pay attention to instructions. I'm afraid that I may have missed much." He gazed off hoping that Aearlin didn't ask him why. He would tease him endlessly if he knew Silinde was too busy planning their lovemaking sessions, then how to pitch a tent.

Well it seemed Aearlin was perfectly capable of setting the tent himself. "Let me do that, after all, you put up the tent. Gather our belongs while I finish." He grabbed the pegs and secured all four corners. Now it was time to make Aearlin make good on his promise. He stepped into the tent, grabbed his lover into his strong arms, whispering words of endearment. "Is it time for those actions you spoke of earlier?"

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
At the mention to gather their things, Aearlin stooped to collect their weapons and belongings, setting them inside the tent while Silinde nailed the corners down. The fire was left to burn itself out - there was nothing it could catch onto, even with a good gust, so they were safe. But when that was over and he had turned to leave the tent, he was rather surprised to be greeted with a rather *frisky* Silinde.

He had to admit, though, that he was quite happy with the attitude of his lover. He returned the firm embrace about him, and leaned happily into his lover's arms, tipping his head up to snare Silinde's lips in a soft kiss. "Of course, beloved.... I could never resist you, even if I wanted." Which he didn't. Not now. And so he pulled his lover against him once more, laying them both comfortably along the floor of their tent, feathering affectionate kisses over his lover's lips... his throat... wherever he could reach.

He would follow Silinde wherever he went... even into Mandos' Halls, if it came to that.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Oh how he wished they could stay in this tent for all of time; him and his handsome blond lover. His luscious lips were everywhere and it was quickly exciting him. They had been like this ever since the first time. Silinde had awakened a sex beast, but with it he also found true love. Aearlin was everything he had always wanted and more, and the fact that his lover was insatiable was more than pleasing to Silinde, who’s own reputation had exceeded him at one point.

He had to admit, the tent floor was rather cushiony. Not as wonderful as their bed in Valinor, but still better than the hard ashen floor underneath. It would allow them to love one another in comfort, hidden from any prying eyes there may be. It would be nice to indulge in their lovemaking before they had to set on their appointed tasks. He lovingly gazed into Aearlin’s eyes, gently tucking a loose strand behind his delicately pointed ear. "I love you so much Aearlin." He kissed the ellon with all the love and passion he held for him, and let go when he left his lover breathless. "Tell me...what do you want melleth." He would please his love tonight, or any night if he so wished.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
His pulse was racing, quickened by the rather affectionate administrations of his lover. Gazing at his lover, offered the softest of smiles, reaching to tug his sweetheart's shirt up and off his slim body. "Oh, you shouldn't be asking me that... the answer could be endless. But I'll start with you, naked before me. And I'll move on to me... just as bare, wrapped together with you...so that anyone that would dare happen upon us won't be able to tell where you end..." here he pressed a heated kiss just at the pulsepoint of Silinde's throat, nipping impishly before soothing the tiny mark with his tongue... "and I begin."

Indeed, that was exactly what he wanted. And he would get it. Already, after stripping his love of his shirt, his fingers were moving to remove his beloved's leggings, worshipping Silinde's skin with hot, sweet kisses wherever it was exposed. "You know I love you... with all my heart... and all my soul," he whispered, once Silinde was completely bare before him. Yes.... yes, that was wonderful.

He mulled this over for a short few moments, staring at the beauty beside him, then slowly reached over his blond lover to pick up a small knife mixed in with their things. His expression grew serious suddenly, and he held his free hand up to his lover, palm facing his beloved. "I swore to you before we first made love that I loved you with all I had. And for thousands of years, that was enough. It made both of us happy, and will continue to do so, no matter your decision now. I'll always love you. But... if you want to as well... I will here and now pledge myself to you... A Blood-bond. ... Even now, I feel should anything happen to you, I would follow you straight to the cold welcome of Mandos. "

It was true, too. Nothing could change how strongly he felt for the beautiful being in front of him.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Oh how he loved this ellon. It was as though he could read minds, stripping Silinde of his clothing and doing such sinful things with his mouth. "Endless you say? I kind of like the sound of that. But I can start with us being naked and wrapped around." Oh how he loved the sound of that, and embraced his lover. To feel every inch of Aearlin’s silky skin against his own was fuel to his lust driven state, and he continued to caress his skin with skillful lips.

"I know..." Silinde passionately kissed his lover and stared into his memorizing eyes. "I love you too, and I feel the same melleth. You are everything to me." Something was wrong. Silinde could feel Aearlin's mood grow serious, which was unlike him when they were like this.

His lover was pledging his love and spoke of a blood-bond, a knife in his hand. "My love, there is nothing we could ever do to strengthen the bond we already have. I need nothing else from you. Having you by my side, sharing your life and love with me is all I ever need. The thought of you inflicting any wound on yourself for me proves nothing, besides, I do not think I can stand to see you bleed." He placed his slender hand on Aearlin's porcelain cheek. "If you want this my love, I will comply. All you ever have to do is ask, and it is yours." He gazed at this ellon with tears in his eyes. The Valar had blessed him with true love, and he would do anything to keep it. Aearlin was his life, the very essence of his soul, and he would not live without it. He would forever follow.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Oh, but how could he *not* want this? The cut that would be made on his palm was nothing, and if their bond was a *good* one.. if the Valar blessed it, it ought to heal quickly. He took a soft breath as Silinde's gentle hand moved to graze over his cheek, and he leaned into the touch like a plant to sunlight. Oh, how he loved the elf before him!

"I have no idea what the right words ought to be, but .. I want to do this, beloved. I... I can't explain it. It's just a feeling I have in my stomach... that this is the right thing to do. Perhaps... maybe it could save one of us later... I don't know. But..." he hesitated here, bending in to press a shaky, desperate kiss upon Silinde's lips.

He chuckled then, ruffling his love's hair with the hand that wasn't carrying the knife, then set the blade down for a moment or two, gathering his beloved's hands into his own.

"For thousands of years, our love has strengthened. There is a bond here that none could touch. My life is yours... as I know in my heart that yours is my own. For many thousands of years, our hearts have beat as one... And it will always be enough for me to know you love me," he began, unsure of his words even now. It wasn't the usual, formal ritual of a blood-bond, but it certainly was heartfelt. "Now, as we stand on this edge of something greater than the mere changing of an Age, I'm asking you, Silinde, to bond in blood with me."

And here, before Silinde could protest, he lifted the knife in his left hand and slit along his right palm. Red liquid oozed from the flesh, but did not gush as one might expect it to. He then passed the knife to Silinde, hope glittering in his eyes.

Would his love take this last.. this - the last step a living elf could take with another? For the only step past this one was death itself.

"I would bond my soul to yours for my entire life... and after. Should I die, I will wait to be reunited with you in the Halls of Mandos. None shall lay claim to my heart but you."

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Even before Aearlin committed the act, Sil was ready to follow. He knew in his heart that this was something more to his lover, and he would not deny him that. Over the years, Silinde had offered anything and everything to Aearlin and he would not stop now. Now when Aearlin needed him the most.

They were in a strange land, with a fate to save the world from Melkor. It was dangerous here, and there were no guarantees that they would return alive. If his beloved Aearlin needed him to perform this bond, just to reassure him that they would never be parted, even in Mandos' Hall, he would. He would give his life up for this ellon.

But before Sil could say anything, he watched in horror has his lover slit his palm and hand him the knife. There was nothing to be said now. Sil took the offered knife and slit his own palm. There was a slight pain were the cut lay, his blood slowly seeping, but the look of pure love that radiated from Aearlin’s aqua eyes made nothing matter. He pressed his palm against that of his lover, and kissed his sweet lips. "It is as you wish melleth."

Fingers laced through Silinde's own as their warm palms pressed together, the blood flowing freely now between their identical wounds. His eyes fluttered closed as his lover bent in to kiss his lips, and he moved closer, pulling his bare beloved against him with his free hand.

As he wished? Oh, the sweetness of that coursed through him even as his beloved's very lifeblood did, and he nuzzled the other's cheek gently for a moment or two before claiming Silinde's lips once more in a more insistant kiss. Oh, he could drown in Silinde's kisses. Another and another were taken and given, the hand that pressed upon his love's injured palm never letting go, even now.

"I'm yours, Silinde... Always yours..."

It was like nothing Silinde ever felt before. He could feel his beloved Aearlin's essence course through his veins. It was as though they were one, as their hearts and bodies had been for so long. Aearlin was happy and that is all that mattered to Silinde. That look of love on his lover's face, and the sweetness of his kisses was the reassurance that he did the right thing.

He gazed into the lovely face of his precious Aearlin as his tears fell. "And I shall be forever yours, my beloved Aearlin." He gently guided his lover down, their palms still entwined, caressing Aearlin’s face with his other. He wanted to remember every detail of this moment. It was such a simple thing, but to Silinde, it was more. He was now formally bound to this ellon, and he couldn't be happier now that it was done.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
He lay on his back as Silinde coaxed him downward, helping him lay against the surprisingly comfortable flooring of their tent. Eyes widened slightly at the image of his naked lover hovering above him, though it wasn't in alarm. No.. it was sheer appreciation. He couldn't help himself any longer. He could literally -feel- the joy in his beloved's heart... buzzing in his mind, making his lover's body thrum with the love he felt. And those tears!

Such beauty. Tears of joy, which held Aearlin enrapt for long minutes. Till he bent in, his free arm slipping up to wrap around the back of Silinde's neck, pulling him down gently for a kiss. Long. Sweet.

When it was over, eyes drifted open, focusing upon his lover with a rather longing haze in them. Not truly lust, but desire. "Fill me this time, Love? Please... want to feel all of you tonight..." Even now, he was wriggling to remove his own clothing, frowning as he managed to get his shirt off... except for the arm still attatched to Silinde's. And he wasn't about to let go. He shrugged, letting the fabric cover their linked hands, then moved his attention to his leggings. ... He'd need help with those, though...

Still, he tried, fumbling with the ties and the clinging material.

The sight of his lover struggling to remove is clothing was an amusing sight. With his hand firmly attached to his own, Aearlin actually managed to remove his shirt and have it pooling around their joined hands. Next were his leggings, which were proving to be a bit more difficult. "As much as I hate to let go, perhaps having two hands instead of one would be helpful."

Silinde smiled at his lover, his deep blue eyes conveying his impatience to love him. "Oh my sweet golden Aearlin. Your wish is my command. I shall fill you, and love you until you are screaming in ecstasy my love."

Oh, but he didn't want to let go! A somewhat sulking expression took his lips at the idea of having to part hands, but... *sigh*...

For a split second, he detattched his hand from Silinde's own, only to latch right back as soon as the shirt was gone. As for his leggings? He'd manage. Right? But one look in Silinde's eyes as he made that promise... that swear to make him scream... his eyes tore to their joined hands once more, then slowly those fingers uncurled, and his hand moved to remove the rest of the cloth that encased him.

Even after releasing his beloved's hand, he could still *feel* his lover... sense his blood running through Aearlin's own veins. Even now, as the wound was starting to close - faster than any other wound he'd had - he knew their bond was there. He lifted his wounded hand upward, gently brushing the backs of his fingers over Silinde's cheek, then leaned upward to claim his lips. Oh, he'd make that vow in blood every day if he had to! It was worth it to have such a being as Silinde to love... and be loved by.

"That is one scream I look forward to making..."

One scream? It seems as though his lover underestimated his abilities. "I look forward to making you scream more than once melleth. Wait and see." He quickly helped his lover out of those damn leggings, and admired him once he was completely bare. His legs were long and so well defined. It took all the patience Silinde had not to take his lover right then.

"Beloved, did you happen to pack any oil?" Silinde blushed at the thought. He was so worried about Melkor and all the dangers of this new world that he hadn't thought to bring anything of the sort. "I want to make this most *kiss* pleasurable *kiss* for you." Oh yes. He wanted to worship every inch of his lover's muscular body, covering them with soft sweet kisses. Nothing less would do for his precious Aearlin.

He shivered then, both at the feel of cooler air touching his skin and the thought of having Silinde make him scream many times over... oh, it was such a spine tingling feeling. So wonderful! Lips curved upward at the mention of oil, but before he could answer, his mouth was being used in quite a better way.

He certainly wasn't protesting, and had it not been an important question, he would have lost track of it entirely with such affection! But this was a rather important question, as he'd rather not be taken dry. And so he gestured to his pack, golden brows raised merrily. "Of course I have oil with me.... a small one for my leather, but there should be a larger one for the skin." He wouldn't mention it was also to be used for healing, as well... but he did bring a nice, hefty bottle of it. Certainly a little for such enterprises as this couldn't be bad!

Ah, so his lover was well prepared. How he loved the golden beauty before him. If it wasn't for Aearlin, Silinde would have missed this wonderful opportunity and he shuddered at the thought. He gently kissed his lover, and momentarily left to retrieve the backpack. He sifted thought the contents and was surprised at all the things his lover had packed, but now wasn't the time for discussion. They had more important things to do with their mouths, and talking certainly wasn't one of them.

"Got it"...now their fun could begin. Silinde sauntered back to his love, making sure every step was accented to tease his lover, and dropped between his legs. "Are you ready my love." He winked and then coated his fingers to stretch his lover. He had every intention of making this as sweet as possible, and he would take all the time needed to prepare his precious ellon.

Re: The Land Outside the Biodome
Aearlin had indeed packed quite a bit. Oils for his gear, food, clothing, medical supplies.... he would rather not be caught without the things he might need! And this time it had certainly paid off.

His eyes were glued to Silinde's lithe form as the other blond wriggled his way back to him. Such an ability to move certainly had to violate a law of nature, yes? Either way, were elves not so dignified, he would have been drooling. Even so, he found he couldn't stop staring at his lover, and when those slick digits pushed inside him to begin stretching, it was all he could do to keep himself from moaning *loudly* right then and there. After all, he had to at least maintain the appearance he had -some- control over himself... right? Still, those fingers felt good - very good. Through the centuries of doing this with one another, they'd grown accustomed to the intrusions, and now it was heaven-on-earth. Tiny little whimpers of pleasure began to drip from his lips, and he fought to keep his body still as his lover prepared him.

"Mmm... Silinde... for you, I'm always ready..."
