Well Moonfry it is to 'my' knowledge a raid mob of the highest order. I know that BEFORE DoF it was the top sought after raid mob and that whole groups of LVL 50s (24 of em in legendary or higher gear!) would get wiped! What I wanted to know was what was it and what was/were the drops?
I dont know much about prismatics, but I do know that prior to 51 they were the TOP weapons you could quest/raid for. I think (but not sure) that they have flowing thought of some sort on them.

hehehe Go Seahawks.
The prismatic weapons have the glowing particle effects, and they have flowing thought (significant mana regen in-combat). Combined with the armor w/ flowing thought, your mana regen was through the roof. 'Course that level of mana regen is mostly important for raids... with a nice bard around, it isn't a big problem usually.
I wouldn't be surprised if the prestige of a weapon with particle effects is half the draw.
Being that it is a difficult raid target, I don't see the chances of us conquering it soon... perhaps when we become slightly over-levelled? :P
