The game is in closed beta, and approaching open beta soon. Based on NC's history, the characters made in “open” beta will most likely (??) be allowed to be kept into retail, which is slated for April release.
By pre-ordering the game at various locations, ($5 deposit) you will be allowed to participate in both closed, as well as open beta if anyone wants to check out the game now.
When “open” beta begins, you might be able to download and play the game without the pre-order as well, but it hasn't been announced yet.

Not one to pass up a fight but if you have seen SiNs forums etc. I am just wanting to play and avoid all the BS that went on with Scorn.
