I asked people if they wanted to be sunday riders.Or a bike club?most said well not a lot.if none of you cant speak up at the time of a meeting whats the piont of having one.insted you all said it on here.you wanted to sponsor the north air ambulance.well yeh thats good.but when i asked if you were going to do the boundry 500 you all shut up made a excuse and said no.The one big thing the air ambulance has got and you lot turnd it down.But you want to sponsor air ambulance. you mean you do'nt want to do any hard work.But wear the T'Shirt HYPOCRITES!!!.I spoke to peter and he wanted the club to move forward so everything i said was from peter as well.not just me.The money side of it ws so we could pay for things like.website,xmas dinner,and also make a bit of money from the events that we did. so the club could pay for us going out ie,B.M.F show.and not have to pay out of your own pocket all the time.the club could have given somthing back to us for all the hard work we put in.But you would'nt listen.About the website if you did'nt want lisa's brother Andrew to do the new site all you had to say was no!he was willing to do it.I thought it would be good as we lost doggy. some one to up date the site on a regular basis.in a meeting you have a speaker you disscuss one topic untill agreed then the next thats how things get sorted.not going from one to the next. so it is you lot who didnt listen.you were all talking about one thing or the next not what was important. you can sponsor any amout you dont have stick with one.we could of sponsored the R.N.L.I in the winter race night at the pub as well as air ambulance.You were wanted by the club but it is you who makes the club?You will find this go's with about any club.you might find a club thats just going out for a ride and nothing else.GOOD BYE
ok then if you want to be sarcastic on the website we all can play that game silverback!!We dont have to give reasons for not doing the boundry 500 even if we are sponsoring them,we dont have to answer to you!Lets get straight who helped at ridewell year before last....we could all arive at the last minute and have a wander about and look good wearing the tshirts.I do recall that day you did just that!!Regimented is the word clingon...was making the club.Yeh things had to be sorted but not in away that clingon was making things people were getting pi**** off and not just us!Every meeting used to be a laugh!Mr j was looking at the gnaa as a sponsor and before the bloke could cum it was ruled out.The banner was ordered for ridewell.As for funs we never had had meals etc paid and dont make enough to sponsor and turn funds over for day trips.We are happy just going for a ride.We have always gone to bmf and nec alone anyway,we have asked people and noones interested.Maybe we will find people who will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bye

not beeing sarcastic telling the truth.yeh 1hr late last ridewell we did. stephen was just one. yeah we did go for a walk about but that was the afternoon when nothing was happening.boundry 500 you dont have to give a reason, you said you would do it on a bigger bike, well you have got one, if you wanna sponcer gnaa i wouldn't have to ask, it is the biggest thing for bikers to sponcer the gnaa.i am not asking you to answer to me or anyone, i'm asking as a bike club, that is what you are all in a bike club for.who decided the banner for ridewell?? & who told you to order the banner???nothing was agreed at that meeting, that is why you have to have a speaker to get things sorted.for funds that is why we asked for funds, so we could run website, bike club was getting bigger, ridewell would of been bigger 2 markeys, could of had more funds, if you make £300 give £250 away keep £50 for us, to cover costs, plus with that and other stuff we were planning to do, we could of made the bmf ralley and other stuff that is what we were aiming for.that is what bike clubs are all about. about you leaving Lisa phoned you. so you got that wrong.regimentale yeh it might of been but to get the club moving forward you have to sort all this out, then you can have a laugh when it is all sorted out, you have to be serious sometimes, and it was about time the club needed to move forward. it's not only me who has said this it is peter as well ask him.what did you join the bike club for???Klingon's brother was P***ed off as he asked for ideas for the web site and got nothing in return, & when Silverback asked if it was ok for Klingon's bro to do it everyone said it was ok, but instead you have started back on this website and give no input on what you wanted on the new website.if there is anything else you want to say, say it to my face not a computer cos that is what a discussion is all about. Lets say its not worth driving up to yarm to say it!yeh the bike club needs a speaker everyone,but frankie was the person that hears the decision and lisa became the dictator.We felt like she was the boss and taking over,sorry its just niggled me for ages.When we joined the club so many things were different as to now.The times we had with jimbos sis with the bumpy rough chiicken and the scampi fries etc has all gone out the window,everyones so serious at the meets.As for the boundry 500 yeh we got a bigger bike but also got commitments that need the cash too.Do you forget jimbo has two children to support and we are doing a nursery up for our 3rd.Our house needs building work to be done and there is only jimbo working.Im not going to blurt that out in the pub that money at the moment may be tight and i myself have other family troubles which my parents may need our support.You think we just like making up excuses.Anyway lets just leave it at that as its not worth squabbling at ,we had sum gudtimes kev.Still will never forget the bumpy ruff chicken,the blue light and that tshirt if u can read this my riders fell off jimbos sis got for you.Even to this day we still chuckle about the chicken.As for the club jimbos decided enough was enough and if u wana go for a ride you know where he is.If not fine! mrs j

hang on mins before blowing off at my sis in law and bro kev! and g/f? we said it was ok for her brother to sort website out as i was there at the meeting , plus i said about rnli . and u said that i find about it then next thing u and her took over and i felt a bit pushed out and thought wot is the point in doing anything if u and her are making all the decisions ,plus i brought my partner gary to the last meeting and he left thinking wots the point in having a bike club if u dont get chance to give your imput, he was in a bike club down country , he would of liked a t shirt for ride well but u and her said not at moment maybe in the future , as he and jimbo were going to set up for ride well and he felt part of the bike club , im not very happy at all this slagging ppl off , so best you tell ur g/f who i was to u a few yrs ago that why i stopped going to the meetings and stuff keep my lil bro(jimbo) happy cos i was very angry with u and plus as i dont have ur number i cant tell u on the phone so now every one will see this . so dont have a go at other ppl its u and ur g/f thats p***** ppl off and ppl r leaving the bike club if u want me to tell u to ur face np i will come to the next bike meeting good bye !!!!!

It seems there were problems at the last monthly meeting. Suggestions were put forward. Some were agreed on and some were not. It is felt by some members that they were not allowed to put forward their point of view, or if they did, it was dismissed. It was agreed that we have an extra meeting so that we could discuss these things and decide between us if we should go ahead with them. Unfortunately, some members felt that they could no longer stay in the club and the members who put the suggestions forward forgot to come.
As secretary, I have taken notes on things that were said during meetings and have had several members contact me to say they were unhappy so I am putting on here some of the things that were said either at meetings or to me afterwards. Hopefully, it will clear up a few things although I don’t expect it will make anyone any happier.
I asked members a few months ago if they wanted to be a club or just to meet up for rideouts. Everyone said they did still wanted to be in the club. Not everyone has the same ideas as to what that means. Some people feel this means going to regular meeting, going on regular rideouts and organizing regular charity events. Most, however, seem to want to meet up socially and go on rideouts when they are able to and when they don’t have other commitments, and to organize a charity event only once in a while.
Boundary 500 – some members did this last year and found it very difficult, some have other commitments and feel it would be too much for them to do this. Members feel they should be allowed to decide whether or not they do this and not made to feel they have to do it because they are part of a club or because it might be our chosen charity. There are other ways of supporting a charity. I personally have several commitments this year and also feel that as I already ask people for money for another charity, I can’t go to them and ask them to put their hands in their pockets again for this.
I visited Pete just after he got out of hospital. I personally, and other members have said, that they felt that he should have been kept out of this for now. He almost died and has had major heart surgery. The last thing he needed was to have to listen to what is going on at the moment. I actually went to ask Pauline how much of what was going on she felt Pete should be told about. As he said he was going to have a look on here, I told him a bit about what had happened. He told me that it didn’t matter to him what we did at the moment as long as the club members were happy with it. He didn’t want to be bothered with it.
Everyone agreed to pay a membership fee at each meeting. There didn’t appear to be any problem with that, except that I was told later that a different amount had been agreed prior to the meeting but that wasn’t anything major. I think there was only Kev and Lisa who felt we needed a new bank account. Everyone else felt there was nothing wrong with keeping the one we’ve got. Pete will be back with us. It’s not as if he’s left the club for good. Members felt that it was disrespectful to Pete to do this while he was away. Also members questioned why Lisa should run the account when we’d had no problem with Pete doing it. And it’s not as if we are in any desperate hurry to put money in or take any out at the moment.
Website – everyone did agree to Lisa’s brother updating the website. Lisa told us that her brother knew all about websites but when I said that I’d get the files off Doggy so that he could upload them to his own webspace, Lisa then said he was asking his kids how to go about it. If he had the files and had uploaded them, he could have changed things around and kept it updated. I did suggest that, as Doggy had said it was very time consuming the way he had done it, that, he should take the photos from the original site and upload them himself but he decided to use a web hosting site which was going to cost us money whereas the original site costs nothing. (The money we paid was to protect the website name so that no-one else could use it). We weren’t told how much it was going to cost either, just that it would probably be maybe £20 a year. I think this is what upset people. I have also mentioned on a couple of occasions that I had already set up such a website for us to use until someone who knew how to run a proper website came along. There is a link to it from the discussion board. Any of our members can use this to upload photos or post any comments. (I maybe should have brought this up again but no-one seemed bothered about it last time I mentioned it.)
Speaker – I agree that there needs to be a speaker if you want to get things sorted out but having spoken to members, they don’t want to spend a lot of time discussing things which they don’t agree with or don’t want to do. They were happy with the club as it was, meeting up for a laugh and a rideout whenever they were able to and not being made to feel that they have to do anything. I feel we have to go with the majority whether that’s doing things constantly or just the odd rideout or meeting.
As moderator of this site, can I please ask you all to be careful what you are saying? I think there has been enough slagging people off. Discuss these topics by all means but, if things get any more heated, I will delete the posts.

ffs i dernt go to the pub for a pint now with all this in house fhighting .i know i aint made many meeting resently but when the club was set up it was for every one to have some fun. yes as with every club your always going to get the peps who do all the work,the peps who dont do anything but take all the praise,and the peps who mone about everything and how they can make things better but just think about all the hard work 3 yes 3 pep have put into the club[one as left]and i know a lot of other members have done a lot to help the club but can you have all the politics sorted out at meetings so the members who dont want to get involved [or carnt]can look on the web page for fun .well thats my 2p worth.
THE CLUB
Thanks for your input. You are right. The club was set up for fun and, I'm sure, it will be again. We did arrange a meeting to sort everything out but only 3 of us turned up. The monthly meeting is coming up so, hopefully, things will get back to normal then.
