Season Deadline and Important Info........
Dear League Members,
We are nearing the end of season 1 of the XBL. The full schedule has been posted for a fairly good amount of time now. We are announcing a deadline for the end of the season. The deadline is the following date :
-Wednesday, August 1st, 2001-
All games must be played by then. If they are not played they will be played by other league members willing to help or are going to be simmed. The playoffs will proceed shortly after.
Other Important Tidbits of Information......
Season 2 will be commencing after the playoffs. It will more likely be a shorter season depending on the release of NBA 2K2 (November). Now please understand that not everyone will be back for season 2 as we are only recruiting dedicated members back for season 2 and new members we see fit to welcome. Also any members that have their gameplay in question will most likely not be back for season 2 as well. We are strongly going to try to build a stricter league that enforces and highly promotes fair and simulation type play. Some members have nothing to worry about as they will be back, there are a few that are on the borderline area, so for anyone that is not sure on where they stand please make sure to get the rest of your season 1 games in and be more active. Season 2 will include changes as well as a draft lottery for teams, more details to follow soon......
As the Playoff commence, expect to see voting polls open up for some season 2 ideas and other important announcements as well.
