San Angelo Needs Your Help
Hello All!
In the past I may have said things to offend you, upset you, or flat out tick you off. Well this is not one of those times! This is a plea to all of you who believe hockey should continue in the town of San Angelo. The Moore's have been ousted as owners. Yes that is a good thing but the problem lies in one of the prospective new owners. Adam Levin is some kid from California who entered into a purchase agreement the day the lease was terminated from the Outlaws. He looks "shady" and everyone in San Angelo agrees. The other group is a group of LOCAL owners. That is what San Angelo needs and wants! Those of you who have had teams fold because of bad ownership know the heartbreak that comes with it. We don't want to suffer that same heartbreak. We, as San Angeloans, call upon hockey fans from around the league, as well as anywhere else we can find the help, to stand along side us as we begin our campaign to save our team with the addition of LOCAL OWNERS instead of this California kid. And he is a kid! According to a response to an email of mine from the Director of Communications Steve Cherwonak he mentioned that they were not even in discussions with Mr. Levin (the rich California guy) and wanted to put in place local ownership. Unfortunately we don't know that for a fact! That is why we ask you to help us out and either call up to one of the numbers listed below, or email Steve Cherwonak with your vote for local ownership. Please! Whether you like me or not put your personal feelings of me aside and listen that I am speaking for San Angelo. Not for myself. We need all of the help we can get! Whether you like our team or not think about how your team made you feel. Think about the excitement that going to a home game put inside you. We want to continue feeling that same excitement! So please help us out! Help us out to help us continue hockey in our community! Thank you for your time.

Hello Mr. Cherwonak,
I am writing on behalf of the San Angelo hockey fans and players, as well as other local area hockey fans. During the past year, the ownership of the Outlaws have put their own pocketbooks ahead of the team and the fans. It has been very difficult for the players to keep their minds on playing their best hockey and the fans interested in purchasing season tickets for the upcoming year. This is a club that has faced many obstacles, and with the departure of the Moores, deserves an ownership of caring individuals. There is a group of local San Angelo people who wish to purchase the Outlaws. These local "potential owners" are familiar with the area, the fans, and what it will take to revive hockey in San Angelo. I urge you to please listen to the fans and allow the local group from San Angelo to purchase the team. The San Angelo fans are very knowledgeable and know what is needed for their team. They also deserve to be able to go and enjoy the hockey games. After all, that is what it is all about. I thank you for your time and consideration.

Very good letter. I was lucky enough to get mine in before he got inundated.. Supposedly he got hundreds of emails yesterday about the situation and by the afternoon had to put out a canned response.
