HELP.....
My dog just ate rat poision that is probably three years old.

The worst part of the problem is that she had puppies a month ago and is nursing.

What can I do?

Re: Rat poison
Hi cookingcajun56,

I did a little web surfing to try to find something that you could do but all I found was that you should immediately call the vet.

All the best,
Grandpa Terry

Nursing dog
You better get back to us, and let us know how momma dog's doing !
Vet shoulda been able to pump het stomach and charcoal her (like they do people) and a fluid or food product to absorb and neutralize the residuals. (my oldest is a vet student).
Please let us know.
And, on the pups - nearly any feed supply or Petco type store has Puppy formula you feed them in soft little nursing bottles until momma's back in order - to avoid exposing them to the chemical she ate.

Good Luck, prayers for your pup.
