Q&A for prospective recruits:
What are the goals of the Prophets?
First and foremost, we want to have fun playing Total War with a few friends. Additionally, we hope to make other friends throughout the world through honorable actions during battle, community involvement, and respectable placings during competitive tournaments.
Who is the leader of the Prophets?
The Prophets are not led by any single person, they are led by a High Council. Any person joining the Prophets has the potential to eventually rise up and become an equal member on that council.
What is a "|Prophet_Initiate|?"
An Initiate is someone who:
1) Is accepted as an Initiate by unanimous vote of the High Council; and,
2) Agrees to strive to uphold the Commandments of the Prophets; and,
3) Has not yet been raised to a full Prophet status.
Are the Prophets recruiting?
Yes and no. Yes, we are always looking for fun, honorable, and interesting people to play Total War with. But no, we do not really "recruit" like most other clans.
Then how do I become an Initiate?
First, you will have to have patience-- as it may take a while. You should get to know us. When you see a Prophet online, say hello and strike up a conversation, play a few games, and have some fun.
If you think you want to become a Prophet after a few weeks of hanging out with us, make a post in our forum and leave your email address so we can contact you discreetly. (You may use the Private Entry if you wish to keep your email address from public scrutiny.)
After we have discussed a few items with you, the High Council will call for a clan vote. As this may take a couple of weeks to gather comments from all members, we ask that you please be patient and continue to enjoy some games with any Prophets that you may see on line!
When would I become a full Prophet?
The answer to this question is different for everyone. At a minimum you can count on being an Initiate for two months. During that time you may decide the Prophets really aren’t for you after all, or your might lose interest in Total War, or you decide to move on. That’s okay– that is why you go through an initiation period.
You will have a chance to learn more about becoming a full Prophet once you become an Initiate.
