Priestly equipment advise
OK, so I'm still leveling slowly (i'm in no rush) and I want to look kinda prepared for when I do hit lvl 60. I'm about half way thru lvl 58 and I'm looking for a few equipment suggestions that I should obtain before hitting the big 6-0 so i'm not looking like a total newb.
I'd like to do some instances like DM, but my guild is really small and there's only 4 lvl 60s and the rest of the guild is lvl 54 and lower. PUGs kinda scare me and most LFM, need healer will only take 60s. So it's kind of a double edged sword.
Here is what i'm currently wearing. At very most I really need a robe cuz my armor is so messed up miss-matched I look like I just marched out of the Salvation Army...
That is still what my priest uses, even though I have been 60 for a long time...I hate the look of the Devout Robes, so am waiting for the Truefaith Vestments pattern to drop to change my old trusty mooncloth

yeah the devout set kinda looks like a joke even tho I have the gloves. I thought about the mooncloth robe, but having something made and just paying for it isn't really earning it in my book. perfect for an alt, but it's not what I had in mind.

I really like Zul. It is a challenge and you need a group of 20 or so to beat the bosses. Great if you have a guild with that many or at least close to that many level 60's.
I really enjoyed Dire Maul. It is your standard 5 man raid. The tribute run yields up some really good caster stuff too. www.thottbot.com/?n=478397 I have the mindsurge robe myself. The staff and ogre crown are both sought after by all casters.
There is another priest only quest. I haven't finished it yet. The rewards are ok, the prayer beads the best I suppose, although the staff is nice if you are shadow spec. www.thottbot.com/?qu=8257

I agree, the devout is not that great looking. I never completed the set and always wore the mindsurge robe. You can get that from Dire Maul. Dire Maul is probably my favorite place to go. I enjoy the 5 man stuff so much more than the huge raids. I guess that I will never survive when the expansion comes out because I have no desire to grind molten core for my epic gear.
