Our Philosophy
Please read this entire post before joining to see if we're "for you".
The Order of the Silver Hands' emphasis is on fun, friendship, and helping each other attain whatever their own individual goals are within the game.
Since Shadowbane is a PvP based game, we need a group that we can depend on, trust, and do battle with. Our goals are to foster a fun environment, as well as be respected by our friends, and feared by our enemies.
We foster a friendly atmosphere, where guild members will hunt, do battle together, work together to build and support a city, and offer support and companionship as well as someone to "lean on" when a problem arises.
We realize that leveling is an important aspect of the game, but to us "getting there" is just as much fun as "being there". Members will not be judged within the brotherhood by what "level" they are, but by their deeds, actions, and willingness to help others...
We realize that some can put in many more hours than others, and have a spot in our ranks for all types of players from casual to power gamers.
Your level certainly "does" matter... but how much fun you have, and the type of friend you are to others matters even more!
Although we do have guidelines to follow, we have very few rules and/or regulations to follow... actually, and they can be found in another thread in this same section of the forums.
The Monarch, as well as the High Counsel members, have certain duties and responsibilities to perform, but they are centered around supporting the guild as a whole, not "dictating" how an individual choses to play and enjoy the game.
The Monarch and Counselors will be responsible for keeping an active website and message system in place, planning guild events and missions, and supporting members and their individual needs.
