Newbie With Painting Tip
Greetings:
Just joined up. I'm a woman of 62...still work part time as a Home Care Provider. Love to garden and am active in my church community. Also love my early morning 'Quiet Time' on the computer before I start my day.
Recently repainted and bordered my living room/kitchen. (I live in a small 2 bedroom duplex with an open kitchen just off the living room). I've found that over the years; using Dutch Boy paint has been not only a real bargain in savings but is a high quality product as well. Here in Redding, California, it generally runs around $14 to $16 a gallon at most stores. However, sales are frequent on this item...especially in the spring and sometimes in the fall. I've often bought semigloss (which I prefer) for around $10 to $12 a gallon. If you remember to clean your surfaces before painting, your paint job should last for quite a long time.
Thank you for allowing me into the group.
God bless...

Mary M.
